Candidate Wilson

You really have to appreciate the fearlessness he has when dealing with the Bush Administration and perhaps more importantly the media.  I was particulary impressed with this answer he gave Wolf Blitzer:

BLITZER: So if -- and this is the final question -- if there are no charges leveled against Karl Rove, will you apologize to him?

WILSON: I believe Karl Rove should be fired. I believe Karl Rove should be fired because I believe it's an outrageous abuse of power for somebody sitting in an office next to the president of the United States to be personally engaged in a smear campaign against citizens of this country.

That's the way you answer an idiotic question like Blitzer's.  Apologize?  He doesn't even consider it.  "I think Karl Rove should be fired" and that's that.  Dems need that type of fortitude in office.

He showed bravery and integrity standing up to Saddam Hussein, and now he is showing the same bravery and integrity standing up to the Rove smear machine.

In both cases he has been fighting for his country.

He sounded very Presidential when doing his interviews yesterday.  We would be lucky to have him serve our nation in any offical capacity.
