Clinton Says Obama Not Ready
The Washington Post is reporting that Senator Clinton is stating flatly that Senator Obama is not ready to be Commander-In-Chief.

'"One of us is ready to be commander in chief," she told the crowd in New York. "Let's get real. Let's get real about this election, let's get real about our future, let's get real about what it is we can do together."'
I'm thinking that if Obama is the Democratic nominee, it's going to be extremely difficult for Clinton to turn around and endorse him as the best person to be President. She seems to be burning her bridges behind her.

I didn't post this because I agree with her. I don't think it's a good thing to claim that your opponent (that you are losing to) is not qualified for the job. Not if you want to remain in good graces with your party.
If Obama take the nomination, which now looks likely, what is she going to say? That she lied? That Obamb suddenly acquired the necessary qualification?
It's one thing to say that you are more qualified (for whatever reason). All of the candidates are trying to make that point. But to say that your fellow Democrat is not up to the job leaves you in an untenable position if you lose.

Shorter Clinton: Help me! Help me! I have fallen, and I cannot get up.
It really is sad to see Clinton and her campaign acting and speaking in such desperate terms. They should have concentrated on winning a few more of those elections. (Pesky little critters ain't they, those elections?) Then she might be able to make the experience case. Right now the only thing I'm experiencing is the Cringe Factor.
