Anyone else catch Obama's gaffe inn the beginning of the debate, when he said Cuba has been under embargo all of his life, <i>and</i> Hillary's? Guess that makes Hillary... 49? Whoops! ;-)

I wondered about that too. He could have been referring to Batista (which was no picnic)... or maybe he was suddenly worried about charges of ageism!

And that would also have been an ideal opportunity for HRC to make everyone laugh by pointing it out. Which might have turned the debate in a subtle way.
We will never know.

Come now, everyone knows that proper protocol dictates that men are supposed to shave five to ten years off of a woman's age.
Sexist? Maybe. But to those females about to cry foul, how many of you just turned 29 again this year? It's a well-established phenomenon.

Yup, wasn't a gaffe: After "you're likable enough," Obama would get slaughtered for saying something like, "for all of my life... and for part of Senator Clinton's."
Of course, he could have also said, "for all of my life... and for the latter-third of Senator McCain's, who we still honor for his heroism during the Battle of San Juan Hill."
