Just Having Fun with the Transition—More Silliness

Andrew, you really need to get the Delete button back, because I'd take this down later today.  In the meantime, the pic is me, sorta, and here's a song I really like about Saturday night at the movies.  To quote Jim Carrey from the The Mask, "Somebody stop me."

Waaay too much resemblance to WH occupant.

Tom, I actually thought about that, but Alfred E. and I go way back. When I was kid, there was a cafe named the Busy Bee in our town. It was one block south of Main on Center. My maternal grandfather used to occasionally take me there for lunch, best stew in 7 states. Mr. Ira, the owner, must have been a Mad Magazine fan. He had a display case, the kind you don't see much any more, wood frame with glass top and sides. In that case, he had some Mad Magazine covers, featuring Alfred. Since then, I've been a Mad Magazine fan and an admirer of Alfred. I especially like his "What, me worry?" philosophy. :-)

I was a regular reader in the early 60s. I can quote lyrics from the West Side Story takeoff---"East Side Story". Kruschev singing, to the tune of "I Feel Pretty":

"I feel vicious, oh so vicious, I feel vicious, malicious, and looooow. How delicious, just to know that I am hated so."

♪ How's that for a logo? And how did you people put your photo or whatever into your comment?

Ok. Trying this. Not gonna save it. But just for fun. And I wish you could have a "signature" cuz I'd definitely take that grace note.

You can change the pic whenever you like just by repeating the process. I played sax in band and liked grace notes, even though I didn't do them well. They were sort of the surprise that you didn't know you wanted until you got it. ;-)

Do a Google image search and see if you can find an image of sheet music you like. I did a grace note search and found things I think you might like. When all else fails, Google it.

I've tried some. We'll see.
