I think this phrasing is horrid:

Also - Orin Hatch is of course a Republican.

You should have mentioned what this is about in the title or somewhere in your post. Its an excellent story but people aren't going to see what is going on until they read your link.
You should make another post with - "Boston Globe Reports Clinton Was Not Behind SCHIP" as the title.
