HOW TO BEAT GOD

Answer: You can't.

Obama is a god to his followers. It's not that he has a better campaign; it's that he has a charisma that can fool and buffalo certain types of people, and in this case there are a lot of people needing to be comforted by his rod and staff.

He doesn't have to make sense, or prove that he is capable of handling that 3 AM phone call. He just has to smile, wave, talk big and keep people hypnotized so that they forget what Clinton has done for this country; that Clinton is deeply caring, hard working, successful and, yes, truly qualified to be President.

You can't campaign against a god. There is no way. So the best HRC can do is to keep reminding the conscious people of her accomplishments, her service, her readiness, and her stamina for taking on the Presidency, and hope that people (perhaps the Superdelegates) awaken in time to set things right.

Sadly, if Obama actually becomes President, the bubble will pop. The disappointment of the masses will be extreme. People will eventually shake their heads and say to themselves, "What was I thinking???" much like many who voted for GW are doing now.

Obama is undoubtedly brilliant—but a god he is not. Clinton is also brilliant; with a strong constitution and experience not only in national and international politics, but with Republicans. You think HRC will go to any length to win? Just wait until the Republicans go after BO if they get the chance. You ain't seen nothin' yet. And their gods are bigger and meaner than your god.

...and they'll still lose.

The Republicans have no weapon this year as powerful as Democrats' mistaken belief that John McCain is a strong candidate.

He has something in common with Hillary Clinton though. Both of them got into trouble by assuming they were inevitable and squandering all their cash early in the game.

You know, I'd like to hear 3 tactics that the GOP will use that the HRC campaign hasn't tried already.

The gauntlet has been laid down...

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

I'm impressed. Without resorting to foul language, you've still managed to be offensive on multiple levels.

Your very first sentence was a straw-man fallacy so it ruined the whole premise. Case in point: I was a John Edwards supporter who was fine with both Hillary and Obama until she endorsed McCain over Obama. Now I am just mostly anti-Hillary, although I must admit, Obama has certainly endeared himself to me through his positive message.

On the other hand, some democrats were fine with Obama until he endorsed republican ideas and praised Reagan - it just goes to show there's something for everybody in this campaign season.

I didn't realize Reagan was running on the opposition ticket this year.... No...wait that's McCain.

Another reality denier!

Look, I had a preference for Edwards at the outset - thinking he'd be the most relentless at using the bully-pulpit to cajole for greater change - and otherwise Obama was truly not very far behind on my pro/con balance sheet.

At no point did the so-called endorsement of Reagan give me much pause because rather than extort the context, I listened to it and read it for what it was: A commentary on Reagan's political savvy, not an endorsement of the resultant policy. On Repukelicans as a whole, it was a commentary on the oft noted (at the time) perception that Democrats, by and large, were not the progenitors of the ideas - even though most were bad - that rose to consume a 'national conscience'.

So no - Obama did not endorse Reagan or Republican ideology, but he did comment on their ability to bring a perception about among the general (too often not-critically-thinking) electorate. Careful there - you're kinda sounding like one of those thought challenged types.

I am not being buffaloed if I chose to cast my vote for the greatest orator of his generation who has the carisma to lead a popular movment to get us to presure our legislators into supporting his programs. I just consider a different skill set important. Hillary and her supporters think that being a mad dog streetfighter and a back room wheeler dealer is the required skill set. I disagree. I think that great oratory, and personal calm cool judgement are the important skills needed to be an effective leader. Churchill did not lead britian through the war by being a machine politician who can savage her oponents nor did FDR lead us that way. The led by leading a people using encouragment and persuasive oratory. Sen Obama will do the same.

Sounds like you're trying to elevate HRC to a god-like level, too. Problem is, she lies, calculates, slanders and makes cowardly choices. Not so godly there...

...and you don't think the psycho women who are being buffaloed by HRC wouldn't wake up and feel betrayed 7 days into the general election campaign when she sells out their interests to beat McCain? She'll do anything and sell out anyone to win. My guess is she'd even auction off Chelsea if it would lock up some superdelegates...wait, didn't that young superdel in Wisconsin say Chelsea went on a date with him...?

Gee, I feel sorry for those "conscious people" who haven't felt the ecstasy of submission to the will of Obama.

What a crock of ****. I am as conscious as you. How can you prove you are not a programmed zombie? Perhaps a software agent?

You also contradict yourself when you say Obama is undoubtedly brilliant, and also compare him to Bush, who most certainly is not.
