HRC's Tuzla Lie hurts the Democratic party/ticket
First, bloggers and then the Washington Post have caught HRC in a lie about her experience of coming under sniper fire in Bosnia. On Daily Kos, members of our armed services who were stationed ion Bosnia have explained that it cannot be explained away as 'it might have happened therefore true' as was apparently done on Meet the Press, because it
could not have happened at that time and at that base. Her schedule shows only the one trip to Bosnia, so there is no excuse that dates and places were confused. The entire pretense of risking the First Lady and Child is an insult to the Secret Service, who would never put them at this risk. What is says about HRC's only imagination of a mother's responsibility boggles this parents mind.
The effect on her is obvious. What is less obvious is the down ticket effect.
The Youtubes are multiplying; one is appended, another was at 150,000 hits last nite. Another is on Politicio. The macaca effect is inevitable. Her Commander-in-Chief argument is now impossible. Her candidacy is no longer viable.
For our possible majority, this is a disaster.
A candidate who cannot distinguish between a friendly greeting ceremony and sniper fire and is allowed to say so by her military adviser, a former Secretary of the Army, can only serve the Republican talking point that the Democratic party is incapable of leading the country in time of war.
It is time that the superdelegates cease to allow her to embarrass herself and divide and damage the party any further than she has.

And, this is just one of many such "insignificant" departures from reality that she has be elaborating lately: Ireland, Bosnia, NAFTA, etc.
Wait until the tax returns, the library donor list, and the fall-out from her new-revised-NAFTA position comes around again.
Do you think the media will just ignore it, as usual?
