SHAME ON YOU HILLARY CLINTON! SHAME ON YOU!
Progressive. Liberal. Leader. Unifier. Working for issues that matter for 35 years.
That's how the Clinton campaign would have us see her.
Yet, when it comes to a campaign. She doesn't take the high ground, as John McCain did, and suggest that Obama's preacher has no bearing on what kind of President he would be. She doesn't denounce those who would distract from the real issues. She doesn't mention that Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson said just as despicable things as Obama's preacher. Nope, she suggests that the fear of black people that the Wright controversy has demonstrated that Obama can't win and the super delegates ought to hold off committing.
She's a winner.

Exactly, beyond which she belongs to The Family. Is she even a democrat, or is she a rabid opportunist? Is she silent on the Obama/Wright matter because of her connection to the Family? That connection disturbs me far more than anything Wright said, and Obama showed leadership in reacting to the Wright Furor on a scale she has yet to match. I give her credit for brains, and political savvy, but she hasn't shown me that kind of sand. She has shown a propensity for allowing her staffers to jump on brutal political opportunities like this while remaining silent.

I'm sorry, exactly where does she "suggest[s] that the fear of black people that the Wright controversy has demonstrated that Obama can't win and the super delegates ought to hold off committing."
I followed your link and didn't see anything there, I've read the NY Times and didn't see anything there. I think there's enough damaging truths about Clinton that there's no need to insinuate another.

"Finally, Mrs. Clinton’s aides hope that disclosures about Mr. Obama’s past like the one involving Mr. Wright could give superdelegates’ pause."
I'm insinuating that while the Right may have something here that will rally their base but the "Wright Affair" from a Democrat/Left Wing/Liberal stand point is over. If her aides are still pushing it, then they are doing it to seize on the fear of Black people and difference that Fox and others are are also pushing.

The Wright controversy isn't over in the democratic party. What would give you that idea! No matter how they are spun the words are radioactive. Did he lie to us when he said he hadn't heard them before? Or is he just doing politics as usual and parsing words. Will the real Sen. Obama stand up!
