Convention
How could having an interesting convention hurt the Democratic Party? The nation might actually watch and listen if something is at stake. Also, the msm might show up and respond to something other than a speech or a broken heel.

It's not about the convention, it's about all the awful crap that will go down before the convention.
Remember, Hillary's only "strategy" is to spend the entire time until the convention trying to destroy Obama.

It just seems that the comments etc. go with the territory and the Clintons have more experience slinging mud than Obama. I'm not supporting her at all especially in her using the race issue but Obama needs to get ready for the real deal when the GOP starts with their tactics.

Give nominee much less time to make a case to the nation about him/herself and less time to define John McCain, while he is out there every day trying to create a certain image.

There is no downside to a Convention that actually has a little bit of drama to it. The Amount of cash generated post this for the nominee will be huge. If we stop this before then we have nothing but hurt feelings on either side and people that will drop out of the process. Not good.
