How do you insert html (link), when posting a blog?  Seems to work in the comments but not in the blogs????

Highlight the words you want to embed the link in and then hit the button link - where you can put the url.

thanks!

See the buttons above the area where you post?

When you post a blog entry, you type your post into a text box. Above the text box, you see this:

Text (You can insert HTML):
Bold Italic Underline Quote Link

Write the text that you want to be visible in the post. Then select it, and hit the "Link" button above the text box. It will ask you for the web address of the place you want to link to. Voila.

When it says "You can insert HTML" it really means, "You can only insert HTML by selecting text and hitting one of these five buttons."

There are no buttons for bold, etc. on my screen. Is this because I'm using Firefox?

No--I use Firefox too and they are there.

Only they are not "buttons" but just little pieces of text you can click.

And they are only there on the blog posting screen, not on the normal comments box.

Please ignore question above about style buttons.

Thanks everyone!

Hah!

Airwon, you gave me my first laugh at TPM today (I ususally get quite a few with each visit).

It's funny to watch your succession of post titles grow more desperate as you try to wrestle with this frustrating TPM software!

:-)

Good luck!
