Kerry Rips MSNBC When Asked About Wright
Woo hoo John Kerry! Ms Witt-less on MSNBC asked Kerry yet another inane question about Wright and the Senator from MA let her have it, saying, "You people need to let go of this."
Here's the video:

Wish all the surrogates and others would respond in the same way.

there was a Clinton surrogate this morning on MSNBC or CNN who was really up in arms and defending Wright outright as a brilliant theologian and an important figure.
It was pretty strange to watch. He still maintained that he was too much baggage for Obama, but that everybody should stop saying bad things about Wright.

Kerry needs to get over it.
He is still taking revenge on Clinton for distancing herself after he made that moronic gaffe insulting our soldiers in Iraq.
He turned on his former running mate, Edwards, and is trying to hurt Clinton. He is a bitter old man, and should be in assisted living along with John McCain.

He was so clueless. I could not believe his last commercial; a flea-bitten eagle circled around to a V.O. of dull platitudes.
The man did not even realize he was Swiftboated and Flip-Flopped into oblivion because he never put up a fight.

John Kerry:
Flip:
"But I don't think anyone in the Congress is going to not give our troops ammunition, not give our troops the ability to be able to defend themselves. We're not going to cut and run and not do the job." -- John Kerry on the $87 billion dollars spent to rebuild Iraq and support our troops in Iraq, 9/14/03
Flop:
"I'm proud to say that John (Edwards) joined me in voting against that $87 billion..." -- John Kerry, 7/12/04
"I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it." -- John Kerry, 3/19/04

Didn't this idiot listen to the message of this post: Get over old political games to score points and focus on issues of some importance for a decent future. Apparently Marginal Player wants to fight the Republican fight of 2004 over and over. This speaks poorly of Marginal Player.

If we could get Obama to respond each time in the same way maybe we could move on. I am concerned that Obama just does not seem seem to know how to stop this. He should take a page from the Republican's play book, just simply say; "I have said all there is to say on the matter."
In the mean time he should be doing an ad about Hillery at the gas station when she commented that she did not know what the price of gas was that she had only heard about it. That visit to that gas station in an ad would be gold.

Every body, even the GOP should be DEMANDING the media stop this nonsense. It could be THEM the media is targeting next.
Where is the NEWS? Where is the news about other candidates, endorsements, plans for the country, the war news?
This is ridiculous to dwell for so many hours on the same subject. It's like listening to the stories about the girl missing. Enought already. Give us the facts and MOVE ON!

April 30, 2008 9:32 PM | Reply | Permalink
Obama just might need to look at making some changes in his campaign staff--there is something going wrong here. I hope they don't miss the great opportunity to follow up with an ad done in Hillery's own words at the gas station. If they miss this I am sure that something is wrong with his advisers when it comes to strategy and tactics--thing must change to meet Hillery's attacks. They have not done that yet.

There was a goat in my neighborhood when I was growing up - some people kept him to keep their grass cropped. I fell in love with that goat and every day when I walked home from school, I went by and petted that goat. Then I would go home and steal carrots and apples out of the frig and go back and feed it.
Goats really are cute, even though they have those kind of freaky sideways eyes.

Maybe in order to understand mankind we have to look at that word itself. MANKIND. Basically, it's made up of two separate words 'mank' and 'ind.' "What do these words mean? It's a mystery and that's why so is mankind.

I like this. I've been mad at Kerry for a long time, but he isn't a wuss by any means. Those medals were real. He just got suckered into the whole DLC mess.
And he shouldn't have run in the first place -he's truly not a good candidate. Howard should have run. We got stuck with Kerry - because of the DLC. I'll never forgive him for not fighting.
But - I liked that from Kerry on MSNBC. He's free to continue to redeem himself.

Yes, I was angry at Kerry for not fighting back. And apparently it's something that's been on his mind for eight years. I was pretty stunned to see him do this. But frankly, this is what all Democrats should be doing.
I’m not just talking about Obama supporters here – I’m saying all Dems need to start taking charge of the political discourse in the media. Republicans have been doing it forever. How? They do what Kerry did – but they do it consistently. There are times when Democrats just need to get in the faces of these talking heads and reporters, and for pete's sake, stop acting all respectful of them. That’s what it looks like sometimes, like they’re trying to show respect to the media. Respect? To that I say, very few in the media deserve any respect anymore. They did long ago when we had the real professionals like Murrow, Brinkley, Cronkite, but not today. These people are refugees from Inside Edition. They're schlock "journalists" who need to be challenged on an on-going basis.
Take Rachel Maddow. I love her, but she let Pat Buchanan walk all over her the night he called her a Marxist. And she took it – she just sat there and took it. This, right after she stood up to Scarborough a few days before, and he got so pissy he stormed off the show. Now, I did hear that she let loose last night or the night before, I missed it and haven’t come across any video yet. But if she did that, and now Kerry did this, I’m hoping everyone’s finally had enough. The best thing to come out of all of this might be that the Dems grow some cajones and start taking charge of their own image and how it's covered in the media.

I think you got it, exactly, Liberal Elite! It is all about "respect" and how the Republicans just don't play inane games put on them, they force the media to play their own inane games. Liberals need to start using the phrase, "Well, that's a stupid question" and all its relatives as pat answers to stupid, inane, gottcha questions.

You are so right Liberal_Elite, I totally agree. Obama could have ended this weeks ago. Mccain did after the New York Times' story about McCain "lobbyist mistress" A story that was probably true and could have had very long legs. We have heard no more about it after McCain said that he had made his statement and would comment no more on the subject.

I too wish we had seen this John Kerry in 2004.
It was nice to see him get forceful w/ Alex at MSNBC in response to a question about whether this Wright denounciation has been hard on Obama.
MSM appears to be like flies on blood, with searching out any deeply felt Obama emotion.
Suzanne Malveaux (on CNN) was also on a emotion seeking mission with Michelle Obama.
Quite despicable, to keep asking if they feel pain and how much.

It seems like the media continues to harp on this because of the DNC's directives regarding the "Denver Plan". They want both candidates damaged enough that a consensus candidate like Al Gore can come in, heal the party and demolish the neocons in the Fall! If it takes a few upset campaign workers to make sure we beat McSame then who cares. Quit whining. This isn't about philosophy or beliefs. This is about winning and getting back in power!

Yes....speaking of the Denver Plan....Notice how the MSM let go of the story Gush Limp Balls started about riots! It was a big deal here, and if it had been a liberal talk show host, that would have started a riot in the media. I mean WTF?....I even forgot all about that with the Rev. stuff. The dude is talking about riots! Cover that MSM idiots...

You know, the standard is so flagrantly double it isn't possible to make a joke out of it - it's so absurd that it's a joke on its own.

And to this day no one has ever called her on it.
