Public Service Indeed
Television broadcasters are granted licenses by the FCC on the condition that they perform certain public services, such as broadcasting debates by presidential candidates. Why is it, when they are supposedly performing their public service, that they are allowed to run commercials, charge money for them, and bask in the glorious ratings? It's an outrage.
