boo boo.
ok, wow, tough day at the primary polling places in pennslyvania, with a huge money advantage, the media telling everyone for weeks upon weeks clinton is dead, she cannot win, its all over...yet and all hillary smoked obamas ass yesterday.
it is awesome to see a group of liberals in a fog, unable to face the simple facts of life: the obama campaign has had every chance, every opportunity and advantage for months, and here he still cannot close the deal.
simple message from someone who finds it hard to get on this blog, too many comments or too harsh of comments probably make up the cause, but i am a south carolina resident, having lived in florida and north carolina at times, i am a born and bred southern white guy, 60, i do have a college degree, my lapses in english notwithstanding, i grew up in racism that would curdle your milk if i got within a mile of your home. i am a lifelong democrat, i try not to be a racist, though i am self aware enough to know with my upbringing and conditioning, its a struggle, but one i gladly undertake, and with some success i hope, but here goes:
obama is not going to win blue collar white voters in middle america, he has zero chance in any southern state.
it may be unfair, it may be and likely is racist to some degree, but obama has developed an image that is suceptible to demogoguery & his recent comments have only solidified that image
the posts here are overwhelmingly positive for obama. it is surely as if we have been transported into a different dimension, where a bad loss is taken with smiles, hugs all around, its over, and hey, why doesnt she drop out now?
there is a paucity of drop out now hillary posts...for small favors i thank you supreme being

Since John McCain is such a champion for blue collar workers, I'm sure they'll flock to him in droves. McCain's economic policies aren't good for anyone, his foreign policy is to pour even more money into the quagmire that is Iraq. Americans know what's good for them, they're not going to vote for the Republican in the fall. Hillary has an advantage with those voters right now and if this ends civilly, they'll support Obama come November.

If you think Obama is a weak candidate, get a load of Hillary. She can't even keep up with a weak candidate like Obama on votes, delegates or dollars! Her favorability numbers hit a seven-year low recently and are close to a fourteen-year low. She's been losing superdelegates since Super Tuesday, while Obama has gained nearly 80.
And that's in spite of Hillary starting out with excellent name recognition, nearly 100 superdelegates who endorsed her even before the primaries started, and the widespread assumption prior to Super Tuesday that she was unbeatable.
If she can't close the deal given all of those advantages, how can she hope to compete in the general election?

yes you do restate all the reasons clinton is despised by all of humanity...more of these polls that may or may not reflect reality?
no, my problem is that this site is so over the top for obama, me thinks he could suffer a serious accident, not fatal, but enough to break him up, and i would expect to see headlines about what a great strategic move it might turn out to be
i can see hillarys weaknesses, yet i vote for her, i understand the majority of internet liberals are for obama, but some of you are losing touch with reality
it is sad, you do not have to exorcise me or the clintons from the left...and the maddeningly transparent slant on every front is just insulting to ones intelligence
i used to find this to be a fascinating site, learned much, never spoke up, but now i find it quite unwelcoming, hey, do you folks think you have a monopoly on satire sometimes?
can you not distinquish between tongue in cheek exaggeration and grim portrayals of drama?

Why hasn't Hillary closed the deal? Brand name, party machine, big money donors, beloved by all -- yet the upstart from Illinois has kept her running behind him the whole race. Now she's so far behind, she can't catch up. So, why can't Hillary close the deal?

Do you honestly believe Hillary does not have an image susceptible to demagoguery?
The reason you may have forgotten this is because the Clintons (Hill & Bill), McCain, Bush, the GOP in general, and the MSM have all been attacking Obama.
Almost no one (most obviously, Obama) has been attacking Hillary. Instead, she has been picking up endorsements form the "vast right-wing conspiracy". Remember them? Think, what do these events tell you?

Just in case what?
If Obama has some huge scandal show up between now and the convention, he'll lose, and rightly so. If that happens, I'll be saddened but I'll accept it, and life will go on. I do realize that something like this is possible. And it's the only sort of scenario in which Hillary wins.
But if I were betting on scandals, I'd be much less surprised by a scandal involving Bill Clinton and a woman other than his wife, given his track record. You'd have to give me 10 to 1 odds to get me to bet on Bill having kept his pants zipped for the past eight years.
