Why wait till 4pm on a Friday to release your tax returns?
Theories on why the Clintons released these at 4pm on a Friday, suggesting they believe the release isn't a good thing and want it buried in weekend news? You'd think after all the caterwauling for them to release their returns, they'd be trumpeting this from the high heavens.
My theories:
1. PA voters will get a good look at how "blue collar" their candidate really is.
2. Hillary's donors will see that $110 million figure and say "WTF? She doesn't need my money." Donors dry up, particularly internet donations.
Hmm.. that's all I got. Anyone else?

Actually, I think most of her donors would consider that to be practically poverty level. ;)

There are, I'm sure little hidden goodies in the details that will surface next week. Of course there are good reasons this is a 4pm Friday release.

In a 24/7 news environment, the Friday dump is sort of thing from the past unless there's a holiday because then Russert and the Sunday shows will be on tape.
And, though I don't have any insider information, but would you rather she had waited until Monday? I don't think she'd like to get any more days with tax return questions, so she'd have a good reason to get it out ASAP, but if not today, then the only alternative would be Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

Hillary promised to release her 2006 tax return by April 15. This was the one Obama and the press have been asking for.
But she didn't.
And I don't believe she will.
Everything else is fluff.
