Another endorsement based on loyalty and PAST friendship - NOT about who is best qualified to lead us in the future?! Reminds me of the loyal Bushies - like that last HUD secretary, or "Heck-uf-a-job-Browny"... Loylaty to a person is for you personal life - if you want to play in the public arena, public-good arguments should trump. (Valerie Plame made comments at a luncheon today that they endorsed the Clintons because they reached out to them when times were hard. Fine, great - send flowers and have dinner together, but that's not the stuff of endorsements!!!)
