Hillary for VP - McCain's!

It is time for Hillary to either declare herself a decoy for the Republican party or get out of the Democratic Race.
Lately all we have been hearing from her are the exact same ideas as we hear from Bush/McCain.  "The oil companies are not to blame it is the federal tax that has caused us to pay such high gas prices." "Why talk to our enemies let's just bomb the off the face of the earth."

Hillary Clinton is proud of saying that she has 35 years of experience in public life and 8 of those as "Co-President" (my words not her's).  Now she is running for Co-President again and now she "feels our pain."  Where was she in the previous 35 years of public life.  I have never seen her propose one ounce of legislation that would curb the oil companies profits or create a new energy policy.  She has supported the Bush foreign war policy to the letter.  And she now wants those of us who are Democrats to go along with the Bush/McCain agenda and nominate her for Co-President.

Last night in Indiana 7% of the voters were admittedly Limbaugh Republicans who voted for Hillary.  Her support is not there...except for the hopes of Republicans that she will steal the nomination because she is very beatable.  The Limbaugh Republicans are very afraid of Obama because he offers a new voice from the past 20 plus year of Bush/Clinton Presidencies.  A voice they cannot control.

It seems to me that it is far past time for Hillary to leave the race and perhaps the party and accept the VP nomination from John McCain.

I'm not sure she won't try the Lieberman thing and form her own party. Hmm. Maybe with Lieberman as the VP candidate? I don't know if that would do more harm to the republicans or the democrats.

It's crap like this that really pisses me off with the Obamaniac camp. First, the lies. Putting quotation marks around made-up quotes is lying.Second, the lies - Clinton and McCain are nothing alike on policy, but again, this is a liar's post - full of made up invective.

Let's look @ a few issues:

McCain=extend Bush tax cuts and make them permanent
Clinton= raise taxes on those making over 250,000/yr.
McCain=anti-choice
Clinton=pro-choice
McCain=100 years
Clinton=bring soldiers home starting in 60 days
McCain=worthless fake health reform that will only make the problem worse
Clinton=better strong health reform than Obama
McCain=retrain NCLB
Clinton= repeal NCLB

I could go on, but anyone who is not a Kool-Aid drinker will get the point that each and everyone of you yahoos who repeat the lie that Clinton is Republican or Republican-Lite is a liar or a delusional crank who should simply be ignored.

Now explain in those you outlined (outside the dribble of the health care plans that both have to have pass through Congress) where she is different than Obama?

Next, talk about who used republican tactics in a DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY!!

Next, talk about who needed race to be an issue in the DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY and was not strong enough to quelsh that shit because we know....the most important thing is winning, and then explain how is that different from the conservatives. Remember this is a DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY!!

Next, Explain did she sign up for the Gas tax after McCain did. Then explain how she plans on forcing oil companies to not make a profit with it!!

Next, Either own or not that it is offensive and ridiculous to side with McCain and say Obama Only brings a Speech to the white, and tell me if you care about the enormous ground support he has garned and if you care about how insulting that is to people who support him!

I could go on also.....why bother though.....

On those points she's not different from Obama, but then...that's not what the poster is arguing. He's saying she's Republican Lite. If she is Republican Lite, then so is Obama. On the majority of issues, Obama and Clinton are in agreement. Even on what to do next in Iraq, they agree. Where do they disagree?

Health Care: Clinton supports mandates, Obama doesn't, Clinton is better.
Social Security: Clinton does not accept the "Social Security is Broke" lie, Obama repeats that lie. Clinton is better.
Immigration: Clinton focuses on enforcement. OBama supports amnesty. Obama is better.
Stimulus: Clinton supports targeted relief and home mortgage protection. Obama supports across the board relief, Clinton is better.

As to tactics, I guess I am glad she's willing to fight hard. That tells me she would fight McCain just as hard or harder. OBama? I'm not convinced that he has what it takes to fight McCain.

But more seriously, Obama deeply offended me with his OpEd on religion. He repeated the GOP false claim that liberals are hostile to religion and than ceded more ground tot he theocrats by saying we have to respect people of faith more and his insistence that religion has a place in governance.

Now THAT's running like a Republican.

Your amazing Oregon. To say you accept the fact that she is running a campaign like rove, and to call that fighting hard....(I.E...Matthews) speaking of Bush, or some other republican fighting that way...Im sure that at some time in the last 8 years you gagged like I and several others did, every time they do that! For you to say it's acceptable she so called "fights" like that, you have no credibility in the future when the republicans pull that on another Dem and you might want to complain! You reward that behavior with "republican" language and then turn around and say she didnt run like a republican!

Here is whats offensive about you. Hillary Clinton was getting her ass handed to her back in January! She had to find a way to get people to vote on Race, as that would be her only way to say she was different then Obama, well that and the Iraq Vote you foregive her for! Im sure you will close your eyes and pretend that didnt happen, so I will save you the trouble. Im done talking about it with you, even though I take acception with your items above like on Social Security and such: You take care, and for the hope of the party and the Country...I hope you support the Dem Nominy for President. I understand though, people can rationalize anything!

Whitehouse!

Wow, Oregon Activist,
"Invective" applied to my blog. Did you read the hate in your post? I stand by my comments. And by the way I'm not an "Obamanic". I am, however, a Democrat and a proud American. It seems to me that the Kool-aid pitcher resides in Oregon, not Missouri.

Well, is it hating to point out that you lie? You wrote down quotes that Clinton never said, put quotation marks around them - which is implying they are direct quotes of her saying something. Things she never said. So you lied. That's not invective to point out that you are a liar. It's merely stating the truth.

Or maybe the invective came when I pointed out how different she is from McCain. I have noticed a certain intolerance for facts from your ilk.

As to the not one piece of legislation to curb oil company profits, clearly you just don't even bother to look. The right wing were all over her like white on rice when she proposed taxing excess oil profits in Feb. 2007 to fund alternative energy promotion.

So, Steve, your post is one lie after another. It it's invective to point that out, convict me. You can stand by your post until doomsday, does not make it any more accurate.

Yes, Oregon Activist,
I'd pretty much say your post was the very definition of hate.
Have a good day!!

Accuracy and policy comparison = hating.
