Hillary on O'Reilly: Great Job!
Apparently TPM (or Obama headquarters) is going to ignore Hillary's appearance on O'Reilly last night . Let me say that I thought she did a great job and more than held her own against O'Reilly. He was harder than I expected -- calling her a socialist, saying her health care plan would bankrupt America, calling her polarizing.... But Hillary handled it all with humour and aplomb.
Good Job!

Wow, no comments on the above, eh. Oh, well...
I was expecting to see a headline somewhere exclaiming that since the O'Really interview a "New Poll Suggests 41% of all mouth-breathing inbred conservative Fox News Watching fucktards now willing to give Clinton second look."
I guess that does indeed prove everyone's in the tank for Obama.

I thought she was great as well. She generally performs very well in settings like this and debates.

I haven't watched it yet, but it hasn't exactly been ignored here at TPM. Fosberry (an Obama supporter) has commented on it already, as has left (a Clinton supporter).

A foot-note: please recommend left's blog entry. I think it deserves to be on the recommended list.

Hillary did a very good job. Oddly enough, O'Reilly actually did a good job. He was mildly combative in the mmaner in which he asked the questions, and said a couple of stupid things like "The economy was great under Bush until recently", but at least he asked her about issues, not all that other crap that Wallace asked Obama about. Wallace had a more dispassionate style, but gave Obama less of an opportunity to talk about issues.

I noticed that O'Reilly has a slight grin through most of the interview. Gave me the feeling that his tough questions had a bit of a 'wink and a nod' behind them. Perhaps, he was just feeling self satisfied for getting the interview, but it struck me as odd.

I realize this will sound like paranoia to the Clinton supporters, but I believe that O'Reilly is doing his bit to make sure the Democratic contest lasts until the convention.
