Something Positive: Two Obama Videos (fixed)
The first video is his closing statement at the N.C. Jefferson-Jackson dinner. It's great. There's a "watch in high quality" link option once you get to the page.
The second video is a funny clip of Michelle Obama.
And with that, I'm going outside to enjoy the beautiful day. I've been feeling stressed and negative reading so much campaign coverage. There's a lot more to life.

There was some serious security on stage behind Barack last night. If you look at the clip, you can see at least six agents.

Finally! The Spirit of Obama rises again! And Michelle is indeed funny; what a nice laugh she has.
I've been saying for a few weeks that he's seemed lackluster and formulaic since Pennsylvania. With the passion he showed at the close of that speech, he can carry this. Hopefully he's going to show some of that passion tomorrow on CNN and in more general-public appearances before Tuesday.
The weather is great here, too, so I'm going to take a stroll up a canyon before the next storm rolls in tonight. Thanks, m'dear!

From the First Video: "And the question now is: Will the Democratic Party stand up for the next generation? That's my patriotism!" (4:16)
Also, how amazing is his acceptance speech going to be in Denver? If the country tunes in for that, he'll get a 20 point bump. Insurmountable for McCain.
I AM SO PSYCHED! DEMOCRATS UNITE!!

That closing statement was pretty amazing! The crowd was with him all the way. He is going to make an extraordinary President - won't it be nice to have someone in the White House that can actually speak in complete, coherent, intelligible sentences again? The think I liked most about Bill Clinton was his ability to speak well and to connect with people, and Barack has those same qualities. GW? Blech!
That was a funny clip of Michelle. I am so looking forward to her as First Lady. After the vapid, milquetoast First Lady we've had for the past almost 8 years (who has the emotional range of a slug), Michelle will be a welcome change - and she will add class, dignity and fire!

Anyone know where to find the entire speech? Clinton's as well? (She spoke at the same event, right?)
