This is interesting. Thanks for passing it along. If Edwards does end up getting picked this will be seen in hindsight as one of the early, largely missed clues.

I had thought Edwards most likely meant it for good when he said he wasn't interested in another VP nomination. But the chemisty between he and Obama in Michigan looked good, I thought, and was noted in the media. Obama and his people know that he is going to have to work at cutting his losses among working-class whites in the GE and this is a constituency that was giving significant support to Edwards in the Dem primaries, at any rate. I'd still be surprised if he is chosen. But stranger things have happened.
