Democratic nominee Barack Obama has already show some good signs as he begins to assume the mantle of Leader of the Democratic Party. In his recent statement that he plans to keep Howard Dean as DNC Chair, he also states the DNC will no longer accept funding from questionable sources:

"We will not take a dime from Washington lobbyists or special interest PACs. We're going to change how Washington works...They will not fund my party, they will not run our White House, and they will not drown out the voice of the American people."

Fantastic! I for one am thrilled with this.
