Keep your eye on the ball!
This would be funny if it weren’t so damned infuriating.
Just so George W. Bush could have a nice little hobby after he’d failed miserably in the oil business, George H.W. Bush, who was friends with former Major League Baseball Commissioner Peter Ueberoth, helped him purchase the Texas Rangers. Our current president owned the Rangers from 1989 until 1998, when he sold the club to Thomas O. Hicks for $250 million.
Now, anyone who knows anything about baseball knows that, much like anything, there are fundamentals that must be mastered to be successful in the game. Fundamental numero uno in baseball, be it in the field or at the plate is, to keep your eye on the ball.
This particular fundamental, as the link proves, is applicable to other endeavors in life.
George W. Bush took his eye off the ball.
More than 4,000 young Americans have paid the ultimate price because of Bush’s ignorance of the fundamentals.
We have lost much respect because he did not keep his eye on the ball.

My apologies for the bad link.
Here it is again:

It's called three strikes you're out. And he's had how many strikes now? I've lost count. Thank Goodness, at least he's almost "out".
