Michelle and Whitey and Black Islam and Yellow Journalism
The transcript is as follows:
From what I understand, it is a tape of Michelle Obama criticizing the Bush administration.
How you'd write it:
Why did Bush cut folks off medicaid?
Why did Bush let New Orleans drown?
Why did Bush do nothing about Jena?
Why did Bush put us in Iraq for no reason? How you'd say it:
Why'd he cut folks off medicaid?
Why'd he let New Orleans drown?
Why'd he do nothing about Jena?
Why'd he put us in Iraq for no reason? How Larry Johnson wants you to hear it:
Whitie cut folks off medicaid?
Whitie let New Orleans drown?
Whitie do nothing about Jena?
Whitie put us in Iraq for no reason?
I would expect to see this drop the day before the election, just enough time to get some airing on the evening news, but not enough time for a retraction since the claims are completely ridiculous. Larry Johnson the purveyor of this tape has been trumpeting this for weeks, ala Larry Sinclair and the gay sex and drugs party. He also claims that Louis Farrahkhan will appear along side Michelle and that Obama's campaign is rife with Farrahkhan operatives.
Even republican supporters are a bit skeptical : "
Many other comments on his blog are also calling him into question, this being friendly neocon territory.FYI, for those expecting to SEE the tape, GET REAL. Read Larry Johnson’s description of what is ON the tape. That is the story.
The tape is REAL. Larry Johnson’s description of what is on the tape is two degrees removed from what is REAL.
And I am not a Hillary supporter. I am a McCain supporter. We don’t need rumor and unsupported innuendo to elect John McCain. "
"
For those that expect to see the tape, get real???
More like … get real and show the tape.
Showing it = making it real. Talking about what is on it = keeping it unreal.
I would expect to see this blowing up, like I said very close to the election with little or no time to respond. However, the email smears not substantiated in reality have done alot with Obama's numbers, how many are people looking for an excuse not to vote for him and how many are actually being swayed by this information, I'm not sure.

I am so sure a college educated person would use English like that - repeatedly. Right. You betcha.
Sorry, but...Yes, you do.

I was wondering just what the blog rumor mill was flogging as "the Michelle Obama tape."
So that's it?
That's the best they've got?

The clincher is the third item: "Whitie do nothing about Jena?"
The three other phrases could be interpreted -- if you try really hard -- as being affirmative statements in the past tense.
But not this one; it makes no grammatical sense.
What garbage the Republicans throw at people.
