So I went to HillaryClinton.com and left this Message for her.
You should concede the race, Senator. You lost. In case you didn't notice, and since you didn't mention it in your speech i can only assume you didn't, the Democratic Party just made history tonight by nominating Barack OBama for President. He's the first african-american to be nominated in the western world, it would have been a little nice of you to mention that.
For someone who demands respect, you should learn to show a little.
Tonight is a very important night for a lot of people. And you just disrespected them all by slighting our nominee.

My god you people are bitter winners. Your focus on negativity tonite is telling about yourselves and your shallow understanding of this race. Thank god Obama does not share your small hatecircles. Listen to him. Learn to act like him.

You know what I think it is, Hollywood? I think people got their hopes up. I guess we really thought that she was just a rough and tumble campaigner. But in the end, we thought she would would be the gracious person that we have known her to be (before all this crap started) and stand with the democrats - whoever the nominee would be.
She keeps dissapointing us...again...and again...and again.

Oh my god. Just keep watching dude.... it's just a few hours old. She is one of the biggest assets Obama has and he knows it. His supporters are a little slow on the uptake, the MSM is still trying to whip up some blood, but Obama and Hillary are natural allies and they will get on with it soon enough. It is awhile before November people. Obama will win. Relax. Breath. Put your hate in a glass next to the bed and get a good nite's sleep.

This is probably the reason Bill Clinton was elected twice despite huge issues. Ditto on baby bush for the other side of the aisle. No holding anyone accountable for anything.
Somehow, it's all about our "hate" and not about Hillary's obviously tone-deaf responses to the other half her party. The half who is slightly bigger than her half.
The half who, along with independents and moderate republicans, will put Barack Obama in the White House.
Just wish we could get some love from the "grown ups" in the party.

Didn't expect you to understand a complex argument. I also didn't expect you to understand anything even remotely critical of a Clinton. Yes, the DLC and the RNC represent two halves of the same, filthy coin. They made it status quo to screw the many in deference to the few. As much as you like Bubba, his presidential record is indicted by today's true progressives.

Ralph, if you're going to run for President, the least you could do is vote for yourself.

"It's just a few hours old."
Okay, how long does she get before she's officially an asshole trying to undermine the party's nominee?
Her speeh was disturbing not so much because she didn't concede, but because she started spouting the same self-serving bullshit: I won the popular vote, I won the swing states--the same lies and vacuous non-arguments that marked her "appeal" to superdelegates.
She is not an asset at all. She screwed up her own "inevitable" campaign, and would screw up this one as well. She's a terrible politician. With her on the ticket, McCain would have all the ammo he needed. Where's that library donors list?

I do think she will come around and help Obama. I do think she means well and is not an evil person. I don't even hate her. I just think she is having trouble adjusting to reality and as a result she is embarassing herself. I was at a party with about 300 Obama supporters last night and only heard a few truly hateful comments. Mostly what I heard during her speach was confusion. Our reality and her reality just weren't matching up.

Left a message for Hilary Clinton.com. Remember she asked us to. Maybe we should show her the exit. She has 35 years of worthless experience, does not know how to be gracious. She may want the No 2 spot, but after what happened last night, I don't know if she deserves it. She has go get up and go home. Even her supporters are just fed up with her speech last night.

Not only that but each entry (I believe) begins with a pre-entered beginning... "I am with you Hillary and here is why...(your entry)". It really is an evil genius thing they got going on over there. :) They can say "we've had millions of hits with people saying 'we're with ya' ". Brilliant and diabolical. How ever did those people blow an enevitable nominee position as late as January 1st of the election year? Amazing. Thank you God.

To be fair: I think all campaign websites are set up to redirect visitors to the donate page... it's SOP.
Since she's my Senator, I'm going contact her through her Senate message webform to let her know that she has been and still is a valued public servant, and she should continue to be an effective representative for our state and for the issues that are so important to her. We will still need strong voices like hers in the Senate to advocate for the Democratic agenda.
As for the 18 million people who voted for her, I think the vast majority have already accepted - though grudgingly, perhaps - that we have a Democratic candidate and we need to focus on winning in November. I seriously doubt that more than a few hundred thousand will actually stay home or vote for McCain. And at the risk of sounding rude, to them I say, "Sayonara, baby."
America can't wait around for them; time is too short; there's too much at stake and too much work to do.
The ongoing 50-state voter registration drive will replace them with forward-thinking new voters who are ready to participate in a resurgent grassroots/Main Street politics.
Obama's campaign will continue to promote fresh ideas and attract new energy into the party by recruiting volunteers into the Obama Fellows program, a 50-state leadership development initiative that is training local volunteers to be community organizers who will lead information & advocacy campaigns to facilitate grassroots support for future legislation on universal health care, affordable education, the global climate crisis, sustainable energy policy and jobs for a green economy.
Obama's vision doesn't just stop at changing the guard at the White House or passing populist measures like one-time tax rebates; he wants to change the American political system, starting in the communities where Americans live.
Hopefully Hillary will become part of the solution, and not part of the problem.

Well, I went to Hillary's site last night and encouraged her to run as an Independent. So, she doesn't win the Democratic nomination. She can run Independent and take her 18+ million voters with her.
I get tired of hearing phrases like "party unity" and "get behind Obama". I did not vote for Obama because I do not like him or have confidence in him. Same for the 18+ million of us who want Hillary.
Last night was an important night for Obama supporters. Well, it was also important to Hillary supporters and a growing number of us want her to run Independent. Unlike Ralph Nader she actually has a substantial following. Her being on the ticket in November would encourage people (especially women and African-Americans) to show up to the polls in record numbers. John McCain would have no chance because very few Democrats would be coming to his corner.
So, I encouraged Hillary to do this and I'm encouraging her supporters to do the same.

She may have garnered 18 million votes but not all of them (given the chance) would still vote for her. I know several of them in fact. Many in California and New Jersey. The polls back up my own personal findings. Not saying that her crowd who is sore is not large, it just cannot be said that it's all 18 million of them. That's all.

As you'll notice, the form you're presented with on the main page is not for submitting comments. It's a petition she's asking you to sign. Comments are optional and will likely be ignored. She's just looking for an outpouring of support to show to the superdelegates. She's still hoping to turn this thing around.

You are a strong and powerful woman. You've run an extremely tough campaign. It's time now to unite our party. We must beat John McCain in November and we need you in that battle. Please set the example of an honorable warrior and show us that you care about each of us. Our party has chosen Sen. Obama and we want to fight against John McCain, not one another. What's needed is messages that seem less partisan but basically prounity.
Don't you think?
They'll completely ignore anything that sounds Obamabot.

Thanks Fran. Today is a wonderful, historic day and we have won. There's no point harboring ill will or being in-your-face. I think as many of us as possible should send her the message that we want unity now. To counter the bitter messages urging her towards divisiveness. I assume she is getting some of those too.

I've just been to the site and seen the facility for sending the message. It starts off with an obligatory `I'm with you Hillary and I'm proud of everything we're fighting for.`
I think it's a mistake for any Obama supporter to try and send any negative message. The message won't count - all they'll do is proudly spout off the number of messages they received which all started off with their dictated intro.

obama won. why do i have to go out of my way not to offend someone who clearly is intent on being a sore loser?
I mean, hillary isn't even taking barack's phone calls.
She's not being courteous. I for one, have given her breathing room and have laid off her for the last couple of weeks because I became to see her more as a nuisance than a threat.
But her antics are putting the general election at risk now, and we can't allow that. The GAME IS OVER. Theres no reason at all for her to stay on the playing field.

I agree and used the 'contact us' email. I've never been one for short:
You asked people to let you know what we want you to do. I am using this because I have been an Obama voter and delegate. I am a 55 year old white woman with 2 BS degrees, an RN (critical care and home care) for 31 years who was raised by fervent Civil Rights activists.
I respect your work and that this contest has had a photo finish. My background, concerns and suggestions:
As an adolescent in the late 60's I realized this point in history would come, in my life time. That the transformational changes we would need to make in many areas, world wide, would present an unprecedented challenge to mankind. That if we do not rise to them, humanity and the earth will suffer horrible tragedies, taking centuries if not millenia to recover.
I grew up in Evanston, IL. My oldest sister won a 'Bike for Ike' contest in '56. My father, a PhD in physical chemistry, built a sign for the station wagon in '64: Au H20. In '72 I cast my first vote for Nixon. I learned. Then I read Ayn Rand. I went Libertarian for 8 years. Then I tried to change my registration to GOP and was denied my rights by a Baptist minister who was my precinct chair. I became a Dukakis Democrat the next night.
The other degree is in Sociology. I have had a lot of reasons to use the statistics from college and build on that knowledge. I have used statistics to succesfully support arguments and change policies. The statistics I am watching on this campaign are broad based, thorough and have solidly reinforced my intuition that Obama can win quite well in November.
I have no interest in electing someone who has little chance of making the changes we need. I'm too much of a realist and pragmatist. Which is why Obama is my choice. Johnson was only able to sign the Civil Rights legislation because of King's grass roots movement. Obama has coalesced that movement, to go beyond taking back the WH. To restoring the Republic with government by the people, for the people and of the people.
I do not believe you have shown the kind of vision and leadership we need. In the '94 Health care reform, in a foreign policy of violence or the threat of violence, in the passive support of morally and fiscally bankrupt economic policies.
Let Barack choose his VP and Cabinet. I think that having a ticket with a minority, a woman (we may not have power, we are actually a majority) and a Clinton; will increase the GOP voters to come out to vote AGAINST it.
This is not the time to risk any more votes than we have to for the Novemeber mandate we need.
I am very disturbed at your political tactics, from John Kerry's distorted joke to claiming that John McCain was better qualified than Obama to serve as CIC. We have repeatedly pointed out that the GOP unethically fail to condemn people who are spewing hatred, lies and misinformation on behalf of their candidates. I do not think the number of your supporters who make vile statements or plan to vote for McCain are that significant in numbers. They are distributing free fuel for the GOP to transfer all over the Internet.
Larry Johnson has gone too far into these tactics to ignore or even mildly rebuke and rebut his destructive and deceptive effirts to discredit Obama. I was familiar with No Quarter and Larry for some years and had respected him. I think you can address bloggers like Taylor Marsh and Jerilynn Merritt less harshly.
I would be happy to see you continue as a very good contributor to government. If you prefer to move beyond the Senate, a cabinet position would be better than VP. There is one I have not heard mentioned and it may not appeal to you. It carries a tremendous opportunity to bring about some real reform that will be essential to the direction America needs to go. Most importantly, I think it takes the kind of leadership and other skills you have.
Secretary of Defense.
I thank you for the efforts you have made on behalf of America and hope that you will continue to put the essence of this country as your goal.

Call me gullible but I think the messages may be read by staff and tallied as a fight or unity type message. This woman should not be allowed to come close to the VP spot. She should not even be allowed to serve in the cabinet as this would not be a Team of Rivals (Lincoln), but more like Jurassic park with Hillary and Bill the dinosours chasing Obam and Michelle all over the white house hoping to devour their flesh. After her speach and her stupid request for people to tell her what to do she has once again showed why she is a devisive, power drunk and hungary egomaniac. I have never heard of anything so career killing as what she did tonight. If she wanted to be offered the VP, she just guaranteed that she would not get that offer. Obama does nor respond well to threats and pressure like she does and will not make a decision because of her hold out of an endorsement.
