John McCain's "wonderful world."

Don't know much about history
Don't know much biology
Don't know much about a science book
Don't know much about the French I took

But I do know that I love you
And I know that if you love me too
What a wonderful world this would be

Don't know much about geography
Don't know much trigonometry
Don't know much about algebra
Don't know what a slide rule is for

But I do know that one and one is two
And if this one could be with you
What a wonderful world this would be

I love both the original song and your treatment of it. Rec'd!

Thanks! I was tempted to do this for the entire song, but I didn't have the time. I'm sure McCain will give me cause to clear my schedule before too long, though.

Good post, great links. Recommended.

I'd offer a fist bump...but you know that's verboten these days.

You'll have to settle for a rec. :-) Very creative. I like it a lot.

Superb post! Highly rec'd (even though I still only get one click).

It took patience to put this together. Thanks, Scientific; well done! Wish I could e-mail this to all my stubbornly conservative southern friends...

You can. Simply e-mail them the URL to this page from my blog.

Thanks for the email instructions. Will do.

Fab, Scientific!!

Rec.

I love this! Thanks.

Your choice of title is timely. Just this morning, I was perusing McCain's campaign Web site, checking out his daily talking points for trolls. The 2nd point for today starts out about partisanship, but if you click the link, it takes you to the speech he made in May about how in his vision of 2013 (McCain's wonderful world), rose petals will line the streets of Baghdad, the American economy will have rebounded to the point where there's a Hummer in every driveway, and the whole world will love us again because, well, why wouldn't they.

He doesn't bother with pesky things like details in the speech. Why should he. He'll just play his magic flute and all will be right with the world. I can't wait. I'm gonna ride my flying unity pony to the celebration!

And they call Obama the idealist. What a joke.

great job, Scientific.

Very well put together. I enjoy clever song parodies. I believe yours is the first one I've ever seen with hyperlinks.

AFter all the posts with haikus and limericks, song parody was the next logical extension. Are you going to host a general song parody invitation?

VERY CLEVER! Enjoyed immensely!

You make me feel OLD; I recognized all those people!!
