Let's flip flop on Clinton and run Obama

Now I know we're all settled on overthrowing Barack at Denver and nominating Hillary because of how surprised and unprepared the Republicans would be. It makes sense. After all, polls show she loses more narrowly in Kentucky than Obama. But what if we take the deception a step further and nominate Obama? Think about that: nominating the candidate without substantial debt who wasn't for the war before they were against it, doesn't pander to us with gimmicky policies like gas tax holidays, and runs strong in a variety of states rather than hoping for a triple bank shot in Florida. The Democrats nominating someone like that would surprise the hell out of the Republicans.

Brilliant!!! Keep 'em guessing. They *think* we're going to nominate Clinton, because only a fool would do the predictable thing and nominate Obama. But since we know that they know that, we might just do a *double*-psych-out and nominate Obama. On the other hand, if we know that they know that we know that we might try a triple-psych-out, switch Obama to VP, Clinton to wide receiver, go long and nominate Mike Gravel.

It all reminds me of the classic iocaine powder sketch from the Princess Bride. The Republicans already fell for one of the classic blunders, "Never get involved in a land war in Asia."

Now it's time for #2, "Never go up against a Thithilian when death is on the line."

Amazing! A double flip! After the Republicans read gotalife's post, they will be sure that Obama will be overthrown in Denver. That will still happen, but then Obama can overthrow Hillary in Colorado Springs the next day!

You already tossed the fighter for the uniter.

Dude, don't give up! You're the one who has given us hope by showing that nothing is set in stone.

Hey, I'm just throwing it out there for the superdelegates. Were you aware they're allowed to change their minds? I think Hillary or someone in her campaign may have mentioned it once at some point.

LOL

Actually, now that I think about it, I remember someone pointing out that all delegates (even the pledged ones) can, technically, change their minds. Apparently "pledged" is, like, a figure of speech.

You know, I think I may have heard that from someone in Hillary's campaign as well.

Back-stabbing yobs that we are, it's true. I'm dusting off my "Vote Kucinich" button as I type.

Humorless.

It was a hard act to follow.

Good point.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Recommended and thank you.

We're Part A and Part B of the same master plan, baby.

Fab post!! Rec. Heh. gotalife, already facing the "trolls."

LOL!

I read that 8 Obama super delegates are/have switched to Clinton. Maybe the start of a trend?

Yeah, I heard of the Super 8! Are they the ones that switch the light on for ya?

"How many superdelegates does it take to change a lightbulb"? "None, they're pledged to a lightbulb, and even if it burns out, they should just sit there in the dark".

Lets hope so.

He is getting crushed on national security like they always do.

cause otherwise there would be a link, right?

There you are! Welcome back from No Quarter, "whitey."

More trolls are coming back! Yeay! Why hasn't the middle finger Obama posted here yet?

Fiendishly devious. Rovian.

The New Yorker cover was the first signal. Like a secret agent reading the personal ads for his contact. The plan is hatched. The battle cry is "Remember Czechoslovakia!"

Yeah, and since Hillary and Terry told us at length during the Pennsylvania campaign that a win by one vote is still a win, maybe we could arrange it so that it looks like she won and then at the very last second, here it comes, ONE more vote---for Obama!

Anything that can make this campaign more interesting I'm for. And it sounds like a setting for a perfect double-switch a la The Sting.

Sounds like a plan.

But first, we have to wait for the Republicans to nominate Giuliani.

Whatever you do, don't say anything bad abour Obama. The MSM is watching! Eeek!

Damnit! "abouT"

And this "gotalife" gets exactly what he wants. Well done.
