Republican Veterans Values

Great new video at Washington Changed Mike. . Mike Rogers is one of the most ineffective Congressmen.

Please take a look at Josh Segall who is a great candidate for this district and knows a lot about the issues.

Mike Rogers cannot talk about veterans because he missed an important Memorial Day gathering to go fundraise in another district. Mike Rogers cannot talk about veterans because he voted against the GI Bill. Mike Rogers cannot talk about veterans because he voted against increased funding for veterans health care.

Go learn about Josh Segall and donate if you have a couple of bucks.

From what I have seen, Rogers supports veterans but mostly by merely saying that supports veterans. Vetvoice has listed Rogers as someone you can add to your list of Congressmen that "hate veterans" (their words):

Rogers was only one of three (out of 378) representatives to vote against the War Profiteering Prevention Act of 2007. Now Halliburton, KBR, and Blackwater might appreciate the gesture but the taxpayers and troops in Iraq certainly should not.

As it turns out, Rogers is sponsoring a bill to permit companies like Blackwater to control the US-Mexico border; they did such a fine job in Iraq. http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2007/10/23/blackwater_border/
