Take me off your list, please!
Remember the halcyon days of the Obama campaign, being pleased to receive an e-mail update? For once, buying something (donating to the campaign) and being automatically signed up for an e-mail newsletter did not seem like an electronic atrocity.
Yes: those were the days! But lately the meaningless campaign non-issue-mails and the pleas for ever more cash have begun to grate. And with today’s vote, well, damn. Way to make fools of your strongest supporters, dude. And to Hillary Clinton: well played! Oh, how her NAY vote is so very back-stabbing and cunning. Probably? Or maybe Clinton listened to the deluge of e-mail from this and other of her New York constituents. It doesn’t matter—Barack walked into this trap and it was stupid.
Those of us that are less than pleased with this latest evolution of our campaign can’t get our money back, but we can at least unsubscribe. En masse, this week, to register our disgust. I’M ASKING YOU TO SUSPEND BELIEF, until such time as it is again deserved.
And don’t forget to leave a message.

What did John McCain vote? What did every Republican vote?
Let me guess you voted for Ralph Nader is 2000 because there wasn't that much of a difference between Gore and Bush...

The Denver plot thickens? Had Hillary been the nominee, she'd have voted aye.
Will the left & Moveon now pay off her campaign debt?

This vote of Hillary's is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Her entire national security history in the Senate has been positioning herself as a strong C-in-C who put fighting the war on terror before everything else. This vote of hers would have been unthinkable until she lost the nomination.
It's mind-boggling that this vote could make her the new heroine of the left. Are they really that gullible/fatuous?

Absolutely.

No. Any heroine status has already been delivered, and played upon. Apparently not to its utmost, since Sen. Barak Obama is our nominee.

Hillary approved the 3 trillion dollar endless war, but at least she voted against immunity today for some companies that were strong-armed (with the bludgeon of 9/11) by the most insane, and most criminal administration in the history of the country.

Read your comment again. Curious, who do you mean by "they"?

I already unsubscribed awhile back. I think the trick only works once, and I'm back on the list. I don't care what Obama does from here to November, if McCain gets in the White House, we are truly fucked.

Never forget this! John McCain = George W. Bush = Dick Cheney = Karl Rove = John McCain.

Yesterday I caught part of a segment of either hardball or countdown on MSNBC with a congressman who is an Obama supporter explaining the FISA vote and I can't remember his name. Anybody know who he is? I wanted to hear what he had to say.

I agree with all of you. Nothing could ever make me waver in my loyalty to my precious Obama. When He speaks it gives me goosbumps! There is nothing He could do that would dissuade me from sending money to Him and voting for Him. Not caving on FISA, not vacillating on abortion rights, not dissembling on Iraq, not backing down on welfare, not turning his back on affirmative action, not Sistah Soljah-ing his own people, not appointing Joe Lieberman to the Supreme Court.
Never forget that McCain = George W. Bush = Dick Cheney = Karl Rove = Grover Norquist = Tom Delay = Tom Coburn = Jesse Helms = Bill Kristol = John McCain.
