Worldwide Support for Obama?
With the news today that Britain is also establishing some sort of withdrawal, time horizon, retreat/defeat deadline, does anyone else get the sense that the rest of the world is trying to politely slip a few cards into Obama's hand?
Perhaps the near alignment of other nation's foreign policy isn't coincidence, rather a subtle nudge to the American electorate as to which candidate would find the most overseas cooperation when they become president.

I doubt it. Brown's been moving there for some time.
And according to the Guardian (UK's major `leftish` newspaper)"Brown did not hold a joint event with the Republican candidate, John McCain, and Brown's officials say he does not want to be seen to be taking sides in the presidential contest..."
(I was a little taken aback last week reading that Brown wouldn't even be seen greeting him at No. 10 - Obama's left to do a press interview outside in the street on his own.) Further,
"Brown's reluctance to make political capital out of the Obama visit has frustrated some Labour activists who hoped the visit would prompt a debate inside the party about lessons to be learned from Obama's success in creating a mass movement of activists."
