In the first scene of Othello, Iago shouts at Brabantio from the street,   "Even now, now, very now, an old black ram, Is topping your white ewe."
By juxtaposing images of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Obama, McCain easily resurrects the ancient white fear of sex between a black man and a white woman.  The McCain campaign will spend more on the ad, whose subtext is: look out, look out, a black man is running for President.  Why did Rove say that Obama reminds him of the cool guy at a cocktail party with an attractive woman on his arm?  Bush conservatives are as hung up on sex as Iago.
