Kathleen Sebelius rips McCain and his homes

Perhaps the best line of the convention thus far. And not too many people heard it unless you were watching CSPAN or in the Convention Hall. Of course CNN will call it a lackluster night. Another speech not covered in primetime, but should have been. At least this gem from Sebelius will get some play (if from nobody else but the Progressive Electorate)
Barack Obama has a plan to save the dream of homeownership for families who've lost their homes or fear they can never afford one — unlike John McCain, who has so many he can't keep track of them all. I'm sure you remember a girl from Kansas who said there's no place like home. Well, in John McCain's version, there's no place like home. And a home. And home. And home.
Gotta love a joke referencing the Wizard of Oz and bashing McCain. Solid.

Not to put too sharp a point on this but: why isn't anyone pointing out how skilled Ted Kennedy is at piloting his multi-million dollar yacht? Instead the Dems rallied around that image!

Is wealth only a liability for a candidate you don't support?

But Teddy Kennedy doesn't vote with his pocket book in mind everytime. There are plenty of wealthy dems.

It's also the fact that McCain is running for President right now and not Kennedy.

I think the loathing for McCain and his houses is

1) He stabbed his first wife in the back and dumped her to freeload off of Cindy's wealth. Total scumbag.

2) He lied when asked "I don't know". The lying part makes it humorous. If he had answered forthrightly, there'd be no joke. But McCain has been hedging and waffling and spinning for months, and finally got caught.

Yes that was exactly the problem. But I don't think he has any idea. That and the fact that he answers everything with the POW stuff from thirty years ago.

KS seems dignified, intelligent and attractive, good qualities in a veep, but she's a bit of a flat speaker, which would have been disappointing.
