Obama/Gore08
Al Gore would be an excellent VP choice for a number of reasons. First of all, he would certainly excite the base, and you just know the democrats in Florida would flock to the polls to make sure their vote was recorded this time.
It also helps that Gore was right on the issue of the war, and he has become the face of global warming. Who better to be a spokesperson to refute the McCain drill-drill-mentality than Al Gore? Gore also represents a time of American economic prosperity without all the Clinton baggage. In Gore, there's foreign policy experience beyond anything McCain offers. Gore provides considerable knowledge on energy, global warming, defense, the economy and technology issues.
Some might ask why Gore would want to get into the political ring again, but I think it's safe to say that being VP in 2008 with Barack Obama would certainly be different than being VP a decade ago with Bill Clinton. Gore would viewed as the wise sage and a valued partner with Obama.
Admit it. Just the thought of an Obama/Gore ticket excites you.

This is my dream ticket! I can't tell you how this choice would thrill me to the bone.

Actually, my guess is that is going to be Gore. I really don't think that Gore ever really closed the door completely to the idea. And now that he is the face of global warming, he may see that benfits of a new stage for the next phase of this work! What a ticket this would be!

Not happening! Gore won the presidency and was robbed of his term. There is no way he would serve as VP again. A more probable repeat candidate would be John Kerry.

Gore, "VP Forever".
Can you hear Republicans make jokes about a 16-year VP term?
Not going to happen, sorry.

.....sorry, don't mean to dash your hopes but been there, done that....says Al Gore.
Anyway, carbon credits is a good excuse to tell others to take the high road on global warming while continuing to "refine" one's own personal consumption...
