Open thread - Hillary speech
Surprised TPM doesn't have an open thread for this speech. Leave thoughts on the speech and rec so others can as well.

A great speech which I hope will put to rest the media echo of the Obama/Clinton feud.
Sen. Clinton is a masterful speaker, speaking with nary a glance at her telepromter.
I think her remarks relative to the struggles of women for the vote and relative to Harriet Tubman were particularly good.
Now we should all prepare ourselves for the ass hat media talking hairdo to now tell us what Clinton's body language was really saying.

I had tears in my eyes. This is the best Hilary Clinton I have ever seen.

I liked how she tied the story of the struggling among her supporters, like the mom with cancer, back to a vote for Obama being a vote for them too, just like a vote for Hillary would have.

Brilliant! Exhilarating! Flawlessly delivered. She far exceeded my expectations.
Thank you, thank you, Senator Clinton!!

I truly believe that if Obama wins this country will owe a debt of thanks to this woman. I don't think you can underestimate her speech tonight.

Best speech I've ever heard her give. I thought she was going to come up big and she exceeded even those high hopes. Way to go, Hillary!

The part about "were you just in it for me?" was my favorite part. Really, the whole thing was strong, but that was my favorite part. It drives home just what is at stake.

If that wasn't a home run, I've never seen one. Absolutely pitch perfect.

Democrats, there really were/are two AMAZING candidates in this election. Whether you were an Obama or Hilary supporter, the margins were really, really thin.
I saw an interview on CNN that brought tears to my eyes, an interview with a black female Clinton delegate. The anguish on that face... I feel little for some of the trite comments I have made of Hilary supporters that were so emotionally invested in her.
I look forward to voting for her in 2016.

Can we just stop with the nonsense now? Can we understand the importance of this election and let the petty, rediculous bitterness fall away? Oh, gosh, I hope so.

Hillary showed all of us the spectacular person she is when she is self, rather than Mark Penn motivated. She is a woman of enormous intelligence, courage and yes, class. Thank you, Hillary.
