It seems like McCain's candidacy is slowly but sure distilling down into its bare essence, and the message that is emerging is that John McCain should be our President because he spent 5 years in a Vietnamese hole. And that's about it.

So I thought, what sort of theme song would such a campaign have, and the answer was painfully and abundantly clear. Since McCain is already familiar with the tune of the Beach Boys' "Barbara Ann," I figure it could be easily and quickly adapted by the McCain campaign to reflect the only thing that matters, his years in captivity.

Now if I had any creativity or a tad more free time, I'd re-write the lyrics to this classic to fully reflect McCain's 5 years of hell. Instead, I can only provide the main chorus line, which goes a little something like this....
