Sorry Billy - Rev. Wright ain't publishing a book

While I know you won't fail to stir shit about something else, the Wright October Surprise thing looks to be DOA...

A New York magazine cover story last week reignited the debate over Rev. Jeremiah Wright when it stated - without attribution - that the former pastor of Sen. Barack Obama was releasing a new book.

But his daughter, Jeri, told me today that the story is absolutely false.

"The only book we're working on is the history of Trinity (United Church of Christ) and I haven't even started editing that," Wright told Essence.com.

Then again...this might just be part of the Surprise...

That info was posted by a commentor on my blog yesterday. Thanks for putting it up again. If you read the thread, you may get a different take on the piece. Try reading it as criticism of Wright, not Obama. Hard to do in the echo chamber, but worth a try.

A-ha! Sullivan's blog had the first mention that I'd found so I ran with it (mostly out of relief). Apologies for re-posting.

No problema. I notice you made it to the recommended list by mentioning my name. Keep that in mind the next time you're having a down day and want to feel like an echo chamber celebrity. :)

Wow Billy, your conceit continues to astound me. I have to give you credit though, at least you didn't populate this post with phoney avatars that sing your praises - you did it yourself. Congrats! I think you might be getting over your schizophrenia phase. :)

Unprovoked attack. You're a class act, mageduley.

Sorry ready, but Billy's statement "I notice you made it to the recommended list by mentioning my name." is just....wow.

Couldn't let that one pass by, considering many of his alter ego (avatars) also sing Billy's praises. It is kind of sad in a weird sociopathic way.

I actually complimented him this time. He sang his own praises. That is a very healing step. :)

There's always this concern.

BAD WORD! BAD WORD! I'M telling!

That's a smile.

Well, I've learned not to trust anything Roland Martin (the person you are quoting in your OP) has to say.
