Three Cheers for the Cavalry

To those who are kicking up the dust as they close the distance, ride hard. To those hastening to the reinforcement of our greater cause, ride hard. To those who served under another commander but recognize our flag is theirs, welcome. We honor you and the commander who led you. Now ride with us and fight hard beside us.

This post is dedicated Des.

And to Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Gathering of the clans.

Did you ever see the movie Taras Bulba Ripper? It is old, big screen cinemascope, cast of trillions (and thats just the horses), historical film.

Great scene of the Golden Horde clans joining up in unstoppable numbers.

Thats what your post evoked for me, good writing.

Ahhhh, the gathering of the Clans. NOW, someone's talkin' SENSE! We may only have beaten the Engl*sh 3 times, but my... what a 3 times they were!

Rec'd for Ripper. And cheers to Lux.
