Wes Clark for vp hint???
Over at Huffington Post, they have an article up talking about how the vp is going to speak on a night that is dedicated to national security and honoring veterans.

The article goes on to mention John Kerry and Chuck Hagel, but, the campaign spokesperson then says something very interesting:
'But her answer fell somewhat short, leading Dunn to interject before the next question could be asked. "Wednesday night is thematically about securing America's future, it is about honoring our veterans and the families of our veterans... and how to make us safer and move past the divisiveness and into the future. I think anyone Sen. Obama picks as Vice President will be more than prepared to address those issues."
Well that rung a bell and it didn't take long to make the connection...

The Obama camp hung Clark out to dry when the GOP wagons were circling him due to the remarks he made regarding McCain's lack of real leadership credentials. This leads me to believe he's not in real consideration.

I thought that as well but now I'm not so sure.
The myth that John McCain is prepared to be president and has the leadership skills necessary for the job need to be debunked. Take a look at this commentary from no less than the Wall Street Journal Digital Service - Marketplace - written by their Washington Bureau Chief. It'll open your eyes.

This article needs to be blasted all over the front of every newspaper, the home page of every website and the opening of every political show on TV.
I would add that his attempt to relive Vietnam is due to unresolved issues related to post traumatic stress disorder....

Wes Clark gave a superb analysis of the Georgia/Russian conflict on CNN today. Sounded like an extremely intelligent, experienced adult, especially compared to John "hit em again" McCain.
i sooooooo hope it is obama/clark 2008!
