Attention people we have to combat the McCain campaign LIE about Harry Reid
I have finally seen what it is that the McCain surrogates are talking about when they keep referring to Harry Reid asking for McCain's help. Here is the link to the video. Harry Reid actually said they needed "the republican nominee to let us know where he stands ON what we should do" Now the reason for the all caps of the word "on" is because the Republicans are saying that Reid said AND instead of on. That makes a HUGE difference because what he really said makes Reid look strong in calling out McCain for not stating his stance on the situation and refusing to take a position. But if you use the word AND that makes Reid look impotent as if everything hinged on John McCain telling everyone what to do. Please be on guard for this and correct the trolls when they try to claim that Reid begged for McCain to help them.

Please. and v. on. parsing sentences is a waste of time. We know what he meant. He was dumping the Republicans in McCain's lap. Harry is a tough guy, but not that bright. You want to defend him and Pelosi, knock yourself out. I'm not going for it. They still owe me a withdrawal from Iraq, defense of my civil liberties, criminal investigations of Bush and Cheney.

Believe it or not, sometimes a great deal hinges on a small word. I have edited court transcripts for 34 years and the biggest firestorm ever created by a transcript that I edited was in a lawsuit between Disney and some lady who fell at their park and it was all about the difference between "in" and "and."

Thanks for repeating your Republican talking point but I would respond that Harry Reid doesnt have an approval rate. If you can find it please fill me in. The Congress has an approval rate which went to record depths when the Republicans were in power for 12 years. That the current congress has low approval ratings can also point to the fact that the Democrats dont have a filibuster proof nor veto proof majority. So when you say Harry Reid has a lower approval rating than the president you should also not that the low approval rating also applies to John McCain, Joe Lieberman, Lindsey Graham etc

When we get Obama in then I will get what I want because these last two years we had the slimist of majoritys in congress which meant we could never have a filibuster proof or veto proof bill go through. With a Democratic president that will all be moot as long as we don't lose any seats in congress we should have a pretty good 4 years at least
