End-Times Prophecies and More: How Electing Sarah Palin Endangers Your Life

What do Sarah Palin and witches have in common? A pastor. A pastor who is a witch hunter. What does Sarah Palin have in common with the End of Times? Right, another pastor. And then what is the commonality between Sarah Palin and violent church extremists? If you guessed a pastor, you would be again be correct.

This post is part vlog, part blog. It’s long. It's frightening. Kick back and watch, read, learn and become terrified.

If you watched Keith Olbermann on Friday, he had a story about Palin's witch-hunting pastor, a man unknown to her and she to him. It was an odd story. Not so scary, just different.  Olbermann picked up on the witch hunter aspect of Palin’s speech, but neglected to cover the most terrifying part of this particular speech. Olbermann’s guest addresses it, but it winds up being glossed over. What is so terrifying? Palin’s reference to Revelations, the Prophecy, Alaksa’s role in the prophecy and the response from the pastor. This deserves much more attention. Much, much more.

As a teaser to what it in this post, the following is what Sarah Palin said herself:
Let us pray god may give to you the spirit of revelation including the spirit of prophesy. God is going to tell you what is going on and what is going to go on. Good, good things in store for the state of Alaska. Let us pray for God’s will to be done here for all of your destinies to be met in this state. We are the head not the tail and I see things in the works that are coming to fruition, percolating, coming along. Praying for the outpouring of God’s spirit for the revival to be here in Alaska.
Anyone familiar with evangelical dogma should recognize some of the words Palin.

Between End-Tmes prophecies, witch-hunting bishops who bless Palin unconditionally - without knowing her personally, only her church, to her ignorance of what this nation was and was not founded upon, and her desire to engage in more wars, including Russia, is this the person you want a heartbeat away from becoming the President of the United States of America?

Read and watch the many videos here.
(This is the same link as the one above.)

Please distribute this far and wide.  Palin is hardly the person we want to be literally a heartbeat away from becoming president of the United States of America!

I found this quote from the speech, within the read more link above, particularly frightening:

[timemarker 1.40] God wants to tap into as a refuge to the lower 48. I believe Alaska is one of the refuge states, come on you guys, in the last days, hundreds of thousands of people will come to Alaska to seek refuge. The church has to be ready to minister to them.

Kennedy has to say he wasn't under the Pope's thumb. Obama had to repudiate the hateful and antiAmerican words of Wright. Palin needs to say that her view of the end of days is not part of any belief system that would touch upon American foreign policy. We don't need folks believing in the apocalypse waging holy war under any circumstance, and don't need them doing so feeling God is going to protect or lead them in the process. Someone has to ask her this on national television.

After watching 24/7 coverage of Wright (whose words I did not find all that anti-American, I think most of what he said was spot on, albeit not politically correct), what I find a total abomination is that they are letting Palin's own words about prophecies and revelations and a paster who gave her a Big Thank You right after discussing the end of times and that Alaska will be one of the places of refuge for hundreds of thousands of people once hell on earth breaks out (yes, he said End of Times), I want to know why the media is blacking this out?

I doubt any media outlet will address it. Olbermann completely glossed over it when his guest brought it up. While Olbermann and Maddow have brought some of this to light, nothing comes close to actually watching both Palin (the complete speech) and the frightening pastor from the Master's Commission (a group which advocates violence).

I mean, how far out of the mainstream are all of these people?

These are not American principles. These are violent extremist fundamental evangelical views.

I do not want a VPOTUS or POTUS to actively strive to bring forth the end of times.

Well I could have stood to wait until after I finish railing against Paulson's 'bailout' plan to take this one but rec'd. There is no recanting this... she can't separate herself from her beliefs. We just have to know that we are fighting for our country in this election and everything is at stake...

And it seems that those 'end of times' people feel perfectly comfortable 'lying' so they might deny that their beliefs would affect their governance but in my perception if they did it would be lying.

Good post, Ms Joanne. That "Jesus Camp" thing I'd seen before, and what was done with those kids, well, it raised a lot of debate about whether it was a form of child abuse. And her church is linked in with that stuff - which freaks me more than the witchcraft stuff, or the tongues stuff, or the personal/political prayers stuff, or even the generic "End Times" stuff.

This is explicit Jihad, only being drummed into OUR kids.

Thanks for putting this in one place.

Thanks Ms. Jo;

I've emailed this info coast to coast.
I agree with you on your stance about Wright, et al.

As an Alaskan, I sincerely hope that after McCain loses, she returns her and is impeached.

Strongly Rec'd.

CNN reported on her church, I think it was last weekend. Here is some video of that:
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/08/palin.pastor/index.html?iref=newssearch#cnnSTCVideo

Here is an interview with a retired pastor in a neighboring town. It's the pastor who's book Palin attempted to get banned and managed to get pulled from a store. He also tells of the evangelical movement in that valley, with Palin at the center, that took over the hospital board and banned abortions. They also tried to take over the school board to push teaching creationism. Everyone needs to read this http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2008/09/15/bess/print.html.

Sarah Palin needs to be asked questions before the public on all of these things. This stuff is very extreme. When I think of all the hoopla over Rev. Wright I get very annoyed that a bigger focus isn't being placed on this.

Palin doesn't deserve to be in any elected office let alone VPOTUS - EVER.

As someone else said, she is Osama bin laden with lipstick.

Sarah Palin Meets with Afghan President Karzai (Transcript)

"Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin will meet next week with Afghan President Hamid Karzai in New York, on the sidelines of the opening of the U.N. General Assembly, according to Afghan officials in Washington."--Washington Post

TRANSCRIPT:

Palin: Oh, Mr. President, it is such a pleasure to meet you, you're the first head of state that I have had the opportunity to meet--which is more than many Vice Presidents--and I'm so glad that my first one is an Afghani.

You know, in Trig's class there was a little Afghani? He was the child of one of the oil executives, and he was so cute, with his little turban runnin' around, everyone just loved him, and felt for him...

Karzai: Yes.

Palin: And everyone knew that we just had to defend him and keep him free and that's why I think that with a Palin/McCain...

Palin Aide: (looking up from clipboard) McCain/Palin.

Palin: ...McCain/Palin ticket, we can make sure of that, if we have to attack Russia, even, I mean, to keep people free at home, just like we want to keep our people free. We have so much in common! I know you have the problem with the poppies, and I understand so well, Mr. Karzai, because we have the same problem with the crystal meth in Wasilla? And I said "Look, we've got to shake this up!" and then that's just what I said, I said 'Look, let's just see what we have in common with these guys!" And that's just what you could do with the Taliban, Mr. Karzai. They've already so moral, and they want people to live by the straight and narrow, and they've got the newspapers sayin' and the schools doin' lots of the right things. They just need to get some of the right ideas, and pray to the right Lord. And, if they don't understand, we still have the weapons left over from Iraq, and then we can't blink, we can't blink, can we, Mr. Karzai?

Karzai: (Looks at Palin silently without moving his head. Pauses.). Blink?

Palin: Right. The thing is, we just have to hit the ground runnin', Mr. Karzai. That's what I do. A few weeks ago I didn't even know what a Vice President doesclock so you know just how much time you have left until you finish it. I tell you, Mr. Karzai, it's such a motivating influence on my staff, the good ones, anyway, they know what they're supposed to finish and when, they hear me sayin' "Look at the clock, people, look at the clock, and know what you have left to finish..."

Karzai: Yes.

Palin: And so I said to my husband, Todd--I call him the "First Dude"--Do you have that word 'Dude' here in Afghanistan?--maybe it's like "Khan" or "Emir" or somethin'?--I said to him, 'Todd, we have to take a look at what's happenin' in Afghanistan--before McCain called or any other thing happened--' cause I saw that Russia was right across from us, and then right next to that you have all the 'Stans--(counts cross fingers) Kyrgyzstan, oh, what's the others?--well, you are aware of them, of course, Mr. Karzai (laughs)...

Karzai: (Nods)

Palin: And if we don't let other people know of what I'm aware of then the world won't change, Mr. Karzai. I know we have the same goals even if we don't have the same God yet...(aide touches Palin on shoulder, whispers). 'Even', not 'yet', I meant 'same God even, Mr. Karzai, and my point is, we can't let others stop our choice, which is freedom for those who deserve it, and that's why I know a Palin/McCain...

Palin Aide: (reaching over to touch shoulder)

Palin: Stop! (brushing aide's hand off)...McCain/Palin ticket will do just what you want, Mr. Karzai...

Second Palin Aide Approaches: It's time for your next appointment, Gov. Palin.

Palin: It was so good meeting you, President Karzai, and all of your other people, it was so good meeting you too! Shalom! (waves, exits).

Karzai: (to his aide, in Pashto): She makes the last one look like the Grand Mufti.

That's pretty funny.

Probably pretty damn close to the way it would go, too.

BTW MsJoanne I have a tinyurl for your post on the zoo, it's http://tinyurl.com/45jesb since the full url is a bit unwieldy.

That was a GREAT comment! Thank you!
