McCain blew it!

All he had to do was stand with the people -- slam this bailout of Wall Street and tell Congress to stop pandering to their "fat cat" buddies and get cracking passing a bill authorizing Treasury to loan money, as necessary, to the banks at interest.

Problem solved at little if any cost to the taxpayers, and McCain goes to the White House.

Thank God he's a fool.

Everything Mr Rich writes is a gem. I'm sure he's waiting for the debate to remark about Palin. It would amaze if it did not become another gem.

Almost fell off the chair when George ask Mac about Palin agreeing with Obama about Pakistan, & he said "Oh, she did fine" dismissing anything a candidate says when a mike was shoved at them, you can't take that seriously. HUH??!!!!

"The Greatest Story Ever Sold" is fantastic. HUGE RECOMMEND!

Sorry, but Frank Rich is not our best columnist. He'll make you eat those words someday.

Thank you O great soothsayer.

You're welcome.

Frank Rich certainly has his moments.

However to feel him in full you should go to www.dailyhowler.com and do a search on him. More than a few interesting results will come up.

It is not pretty.

I'm with Loki on this, although the linked column was of Rich's good ones.

What I'm more curious about is why 46 people would recommend a post that does nothing more than link to an OpEd from the NY Times. Shouldn't this be required reading? It's not like some obscure but brilliant article that needs to be discovered. I would prefer someone's original thoughts.

So you are living up to your name.

Where are your original thoughts.

I have posted plenty of my own blogs, in just the past week alone. Just click on my name, and you will find them. Time for you to put up, instead doing that armchair second guessing thing.
