GOP Readies Jeremiah Wright Ammo
Was surfing the conservative sites and came across this link to a WSJ article. Looks like the Grouchy Old People have decided the Lobbyist and Spanish language ads have gone too far with guilt by association. The nuclear option is now fully on the table.

Don’t be shocked if you see the McCain campaign pull the controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright out of mothballs in new attacks against one-time parishioner, Barack Obama.
McCain advisers say that they see “attack by association” as fair game now, arguing that Obama’s campaign has been using that technique to go after McCain. In particular, the Obama campaign has hammered McCain on the stump and in TV ads on the number of one-time lobbyists working for his campaign. (The McCain campaign is also angry about a Spanish-language TV ad that ties McCain to Rush Limbaugh on immigration, without ever saying that McCain took on Limbaugh and others to fight for comprehensive immigration reform.

They better be prepared to then to get a dose of Palin's church, etc. Ouch!

The problem with that though is that Wright has been done to death during the primaries. To death!
What more can they talk about: we've heard about the Farrakhan link to Wright, but has been disproven in relation to Obama, we've the link to Ayers, once again disproven.
The only problem I have is what more can they come up with? In a way, it's good it came out during the primaries because that makes it old news.
McCain's attacks are related to people he has in his campaign.
Though you have to wonder how bad these Republicans can spin things and that makes me nervous a bit.
You bet Obama's people are ready for it and will undoubtedly have rebuts of their own.

I also have thought they will pull out Wright along with Rezko and Ayers. It's just a matter of the right timing for best effect. It can't be so soon that any fresh emotional outrage will have subsided by Nov. 4th.
McCain will be forced to push the issue through his own ad dollars as the I agree the media is pretty much done with those stories. What is clear is that McCain will go to any length. Who would have thought that John McCain would run a campaign more nastier than Bush's.
