It really seems to speak for itself

"I have had a strong and a long relationship on national security, I've been involved in every national crisis that this nation has faced since Beirut, I understand the issues, I understand and appreciate the enormity of the challenge we face from radical Islamic extremism. I am prepared. I am prepared. I need no on-the-job training. I wasn't a mayor for a short period of time. I wasn't a governor for a short period of time," - Senator John McCain, October, 2007.

(Emphasis mine.)

...Huh. I'd comment on this, but it really seems to speak for itself, doesn't it?

It certainly does...

On another note... avatars are back! Wow! That makes me happy. =)

I think that's the best quote I've seen all year. Gracias.

Someone teach me how to get an avatar that fits please.

You've got the best avatar....great get on this...tie it in to the "out of touch" quote from the Forum last nite and that says it all

Thanks! I don't think I'll be changing my avatar anytime soon.

But you're right. It's a great quote to tie into the message that McCain is "out of touch".

To be honest, I think that's the direction Obama should be going. Not on this McBush thing. Portray McCain as an outsider to American values, and an outsider to middle class issues and problems.

Some help on the avy please?

Gotta resize the picture. 64x64, I'd say. That should be fine. =)

Explain how you believe this would sway more than a single vote

Explain how using it in conjunction with Obama's continued message against McCain would not in any way help.

When I opened my browser this evening and pointed it to MSNBC I expected to see a picture of SP and comments about the segment tonight. Guess what I did see...

"McCain barbs stirring outcry as distortions"

MSNBC... really....

I was stunned.. (sorry to hijack the thread)...

I wish, just once, in a discussion of "mayors," that someone would mention this. I know the convention was 2200 years ago and all, but am I the only one who remembers that the Republican Mayor of Fairbanks, Alaska endorsed Barack Obama at the Democratic Convention? Doesn't anyone else appreciate the irony of the Pubs pushing Palin's Wasilla cred when Whitaker is out there stumping for Obama, primarily because he appreciates Obama's energy policy?

Maybe it's just me, but I think this should get some play.

Palin supported Obama's energy policy, too (at least until that page was scrubbed from the ak.us Web site).
