FYI...got onto the court.alaska.org site. Request for docs to be sealed made 9/3..denied 9/4. May be nothing there, but unlike others I DO believe character matters. She wasn't properly vetted, now the McCain campaign is trying to shut down all means of determining if she really is the "squeaky clean" candidate they claim she is.

I think the Enquirer headline is misleading. Palin didn't have the affair-- she fired an old friend and state employee, Bitney, after he had an affair with the wife of her ex-boyfriend, now buddy of Todd's, Scott Richter. It was another personal vendetta/ abuse of power thing. There's also a possible connection to the big pipeline. This blog has been up since last July, so it's just another thing that got missed in the thorough vetting.
