Let Palin Go...
....Unto her sweet, Goodnight.
There has been much brought up over Gov. Sarah Palin's family life. Particularly, her son Trig(?) and daughter Bristol's pregnancy. Who Cares? In my mind (and not yours, but mine only), I think what person (not woman, not man, but person) would subject thier family to this kind of scrutany? Ever?
The problems that this family will have to deal with is one in which so many of us know so intimately. It is hard to raise a child. It is hard to make them aware of the world around them, when at the same time, they are in thier late teens and awakening to the world. Think back to when you were 16-25: you were indestructable (I was, too!).
This family now has three children to raise. Questions have been raised about Trig and who would be there to change his diaper (forgetting that a Father can change a diaper just as good as a mother (and take a stream of piss to the face a bit more non-chalant than a mother)), which find me appalled: Who cares about diaper changing in the White House?
But I digress, this family has, literally, three children to raise. This family has a task before them that needs America to support it. This family, needs a FAMILY.
So let's let Sarah talk about the US Economy, let's let her talk about Foriegn Policy, let's even let her talk about social issues for the next two months. And when she's done, let's agree to one other thing.
Let's all agree to send her home, so she can fully attend to her family's needs. On Nov. 4th, let's send her home so she, and her husband, attend to the single most important need of thier lives, thier children.
Because, at the end of the day, she doesn't understand foriegn policy and she doesn't understand the economy.
It may be that the only thing she understands is her family. So let's give her the only chance she has in helping her family by sending her back to Alaska.
But let's not focus on this anymore. Let's focus on the fact that she is no more ready to lead the country than I am. I am confident that I would debate her to a standstill, and Biden would make mince-meat out of me.
Let her voice ring out on a National stage, and then we can send her home to attend to her family.
