MUST SEE Video - and more!

So many great videos today!!

John McCain is a LIAR!  Liar, liar, pants on fire (redux).  Great video!

Sean Hannity goes apoplectic when shown facts.  I laughed my ass off watching this one.

McCain shows his utter ignorance - redux.  Honestly, this is an embarrassment.  I am sure McCain can expect more if any other real journalists ask him more real questions.

What Norm Coleman has to say about G.W. Bush.  Eight seconds of .....  (Yeah, that sums up Bush for me, too.)

Want to get pissed?  Take a look at how your tax dollars are being wasted.  If you're not infuriated, you're not breathing.

If you missed Keith Olbermann's scathing Special Comment, you can catch it here.

Republicans are on Fantasy Island.  A great video interjecting some humor and far too much truth.

And as long as you're watching videos, watch this, John McCain, War Candidate (yes, this is a repeat, but only because it is ABSOLUTELY FRIGHTENING, and what could possibly be in our future)!

Don't feel like watching videos?  How about:

Sarah Palin is a LIAR!

A great write up on the polls and why we shouldn't believe them.

CREW takes on the most corrupt members of Congress.  Republicans - 17,   Dems - 7.  Check out the list and why they are on it.

Obama sends apology post cards for his Lipstick comment.

And last, but not least...since the phrase Lipstick on a Pig is no longer acceptable, the Dems released a list of other phrases which they also cannot use.  Pretty darned funny!  Care to add your own to the list?

Ok, there's the daily wrap-up.  I hope you enjoyed them.  If you did, please give this post a Recommend so others may, too.

mcSham campaign in a nutshell:

1. They're lying.

2. They're crying ... wolf.

Everything they do fits into one of these two categories.

We need Lie Counters and Crying Wolf Counters.

Label and Count. Label and Count. That's our attack!

Then let Obama and Biden doing the issues lifting!

See my blog on this by clicking my name.

One of the problems with all this lying stuff is that people haven't yet related it back to the larger campaign themes.

Now that the media have been starting to call out McCain on his lack of truthfulness, I imagine an ad like the following:

Various quotes about John McCain's lying are displayed on the screen (but McCain's name is never mentioned). Each is followed by clips of Bush/Cheney that seem to support the quote.

For example, I seem to remember a quote from some source about McCain's (incorrect) charge that Obama would tax everyone making more than $32,000. The quote was along the lines of "constantly repeating a discredited falsehood".

Clip of Bush linking 9/11 to Iraq.

Repeat 3-4 times with different quotes and clips.

Once you have people nodding their heads that "Yes, Bush was pretty slimy and he lied to our faces", you do the switch:

"Think all these statements were about the Bush Administration? You're really close..."

Photo of John McCain, and some text/narration that reveals they were quotes about him.

Some tagline like: "We don't need four more years that are just like the last eight years. Enough."

Let me just add one more video.

I strongly recommend the HuffPo article that includes clips from today's episode of The View.

Goddamn it, if it isn't the hardest-hitting interview I've seen in this whole election season. People who make fun of Barbara Walters, you just got served.

McCain's lie about earmarks is getting some attention on the TPM front page. But I think the discussion about Roe v. Wade is every bit as important. A lot of moderate women who fell in love with Sarah haven't thought carefully about the implications of a McCain-Palin ticket. If the audience for The View skews female at all, I'd say McCain just lost 1% of the female vote in five minutes.

But more generally, Barbara Walters is *tough* on the guy -- stern and almost scornful. Tone matters as much as substance, and the picture of McCain sitting in the middle of a group of women, getting grilled like this, is a lovely, lovely picture.

And the word "lies" gets tossed about in re: McCain's ads, and he is forced to (effectively) apologize for the kind of campaign he's been running.

I was almost in tears watching these clips. Which doesn't ordinarily happen when I watch The View!! ;-)

Great selection of articles as usual Ms. Joanne. Here's a link to the Huffpo article with Obama hitting McSame in the gut on his ties to lobbyists.

Did you catch McCain last night (at the Service event) say that he wouldn't have to run his campaign as he is if only Obama had agreed to the Town Hall meetings? Honestly, he said that.

McCain: *I* wouldn't have to be a dickhead if Obama had agreed to what *I* wanted.

I. Me. I. I. I. Me. I. I. I.
