Politico Ignores Obvious with their phony "Five Reasons McCain has Pulled Ahead"
Politco's idiotic article is also in the Yahoo headline list.
1) They state "pulled ahead" as fact when it isn't a fact.
He hasn't actually pulled ahead except in a couple polls that utilize questionable methods such as "likely voter" algorithms that favor McBush. Everyone else has it even.
Which to my mind, due to the land line/cell phone/caller ID problem, means that Obama has about a 3 point lead across the board.
2) Convention bounce? We don't need no stinkin' convention bounce!!! Even though it is McBush's convention bounce that is actually fading instead of Obama's "star".
3) They say that "white" people prefer McBush, then accuse the Obama campaign of being racists.
4) They brag about Palin's "effect" on the voters, then accuse the Obama campaign of being sexists.
3) McBush has "leveled" the money field except for where they haven't.
The article makes confusing nit-picking arguments based on comparing statistics before and after the Dem Convention, then in-between conventions then before and after the Repub convention.
As a side note, today on CNN headline news, a segment is introduced saying that "The Obama camp is accusing the McCain campaign of lying about Palin's Iraq visit" then they only discuss whether or not Palin actually "banned" books when she was mayor of that stinkin' little town.
Then loudly proclaimed "BALONEY" with the word splashed diagonally across the screen - directly implying that they "debunked" the Obama campaign instead of what they actually debunked (and not very convincingly):
Vague Internet rumors that were probably started by none other than Rove himself. The Iraq lie is not discussed at all.
As a kicker, CNN and FOX continue complaining about the "liberal" media.

McCain gets FEC matching funds, Obama doesn't. So Obama has to raise twice as much to stay even. Bet Sarah brought in some donations for August and September.
Oh, and McCain figured out a loophole where the Republican Party can put in 2 seconds of issues advertisement in a McCain ad and they split the cost. So 25 cents donation buys $1 air time. If you're a Republican.
