Katrina showed America how out of touch and cold-hearted the Republican Administration could be.  Now we have Ike and the disaster is again outstripping the ability of the government to respond.  The Republican Administration has aided and abetted the theft of our Treasury.  A blind eye has been turned to abuse by financial institutions and out right law breaking.  Now another Republican is telling America that his Administration will be different.  The histories of both members of the Republican ticket tells Americans that their Republican Administration will be no different than the former. 
     Katrina woke many up.  Now the present financial crisis have shocked many more American voters that they have been robbed and will have to pay the bill in what may be a vain attempt to prevent economic collapse.  Those Americans who have predicted that this was going to happen should not mock those who were scammed by the Republican Administration.  Change in a time of instability is difficult for many Americans to accept.  The Republican Administration has exploited fear to govern and is feeding their supporters endless propaganda to divide Americans from each other.  Americans who oppose the Republican Administration are ignored or find their reputations under attack.
     Senator Obama has laid out a well thought plan and is appealing to America's better self.  Senator Biden, appealing to America's innate patriotism and willingness to sacrifice is leading as well. Shout out "Save the Republic!". Leaders define the cause and mission for America in these dark times and challenge Americans to work for the greater good. A Democratic Administration will understand that all Americans want a better country and a better future for their kids. A Democratic Administration will focus on the majority of the American people-the middle class. No more big bailout for billionaire bankers with golden parachutes while homeowner's and credit card holders are told too bad. Throw the bums out!
