The cure for Palin? IS Palin.
Okay, I listen to a little too much AirAmerica I'll admit. But here I am with a head full of wine, John Elliot and callers wondering how to confront the "Palin issue" (sexism etc.) and it hits me, (as I am sure you all well understand) just call her on her B.S., simple. But not so much in advertisements, keep that money focused on mcsenilewarmongeringoldfart, keep her out of the ads, do not add to the Palin meme, in fact, and wait.... wait until the Biden/Palin debate.
Here is how I pray it plays out:
She is asked about her resume... She goes on with the same crap she has been talking about on the stump, the jet, fighting corruption etc., and then...
Biden pipes up with, wait for it, THE TRUTH. He isn't sexist, or demeaning, just points out very plainly that she is "not really being honest" and points out the lie.
And does not stop pointing out lie after lie when she tries.
Important thing though, is that he stays very calm, very clear and not dismissive at all. Does not mention mcwhatshisname unless prompted to and focuses on her and her talking points.
Next day.... she is done and we can finally ship her back to the great white north and mcshambles is back on his own.
Like I said, head full of wine.
What do you think?

I really don't think the Dems have to work that hard, it's always been theirs to lose.

I don't think it's work at all, easy in fact.

I should add that when I say "do not add to the Palin meme", what I mean is to just dismiss any question about her. "I am not running for POTUS to talk about sarah palin" etc. and then hammer on mcihaverunouttanamestocallthisguy.

As soon as I got a feel for who Sarah Palin is, I was weak with gratitude that Biden is going to be the one facing her. It's hard to think of any of the other VP possibilities, except perhaps Clinton, who would be easily strong enough not to be rolled over by her but controlled enough not to be perceived as pummeling her. And Biden can do it even more deftly and politely if he's on his game and the questions play out in the right order. I honestly can't think of anyone I'd rather have facing her - he can equal her in both charm and ruthlessness.
