Someone at TPM (sorry, forgot who) posted a link to an independent ad called Thank John McCain.  It's a very effective ad and there was discussion that it should be aired on television.  A while back Josh Marshall also posted a link to another independent ad called Judgment and there was also discussion on airing that.  An organization called truthandhope managed to get approval to run the Judgment ad on the air in battleground states and started raising money to do so.  After seeing the Thank John McCain ad I, along with about 100 other people, wrote to Eugene at Truth and Hope with a link to the ad.  I got an email back letting me know that TRUTH AND HOPE GOT THE AD!  Eugene has a post about it on dkos.  This is grassroots advertising and it is EXCELLENT NEWS!!
