Where is Andrew Sullivan?
The two sites I visit the most are TPM and TheDailyDish, and Andrew Sullivan seems to have vanished in the past two days, unlike himself, in that he has consistently brought in guest bloggers during previous breaks he's taken. After becoming a bit concerned (especially with his last posting being simply an image of some flowers) and rooting around a bit, which led to posted rumors that he's been fired for going too full bore into the dicier aspects of the horror that is the candidacy of Sarah Palin, I found a posting from his colleague Marc Ambinder who says Andrew is simply taking a break:

Just thought others here might be interested.

AS is the first thing I read in the morning after my local newspaper. My first guess was that he might have been sick or something. Hopefully that is all it is. If not, he'll be back somewhere soon.

Thank you!!! You've saved me many futile clicks - I was becoming concerned and it's good to get solid information. (My most-frequent stops are TPM, Daily Dish, and First Read)
I have no idea why but when I first realized something was wrong on Sullivan's site, I had this flash that he was "onto something", had gotten some hard information, and was diving in to follow it up. Have no idea why I thought that but usually I would immediately jump to illness or some other negative reason. Anyway, one can hope - that would mean that he's fine *and* maybe that there's something big in the wind.
