Why Advertising matters
I have been a strong supporter of Barack Obama from 2004 and I have always believed in his long term approach to this campaign for Presidency.
Here is the problem I have right now and I hope you hear me out and follow through. The commercials for the Obama campaign are the worst I have ever seen. Obama is the best candidate we have had in my life time and I am 35 years old and yet the advertising team is selling him short. The ads are flat and do not reach the gut level of people, people respond on a gut level and are not concern with the facts in a commercial. The advertising team need to reach me and the millions of Americans on the gut level.
I am going to give you one example of where the team fails and continues to not understand people and how the mind works. McCain released an ad saying that Obama wants to teach Sex to kindergarteners...there was no response from the Obama team except to say that the ad was distorting Obama's position. So what, we all know that McCain is lying, so be ready to respond. It took Planned Parenthood to respond for the Obama campaign in a way that reaches the gut level...view link below.





O now has the 527's to do his dirty work while he can stay above the fray. He also used them later in the election now sinc ethey have plenty of ammunition to use that can ride until the end of the election.
